This “Healthy” Food Can Have 6 Teaspoons of Added Sugar
That little container of fruited yogurt may contain a lot more added sugar than you realize.

Dr. Uma Naidoo explains why some foods we automatically think of as healthy aren’t always what they seem — and shares a simple alternative: plain yogurt with berries, cinnamon, and a little honey.

You promised yourself you weren't going to yell.

Then someone couldn't find their shoes. Someone wasn't listening. You were already running late. And suddenly you're raising your voice again.

Then comes the guilt.

But here's a question worth asking:

What was happening with you before you yelled?

Were you already exhausted? Overstimulated? Anxious? Rushing? Carrying the mental load for everyone in the house?

Sometimes the thing that sets us off isn't the whole story. Understanding what's happening before we lose our patience can help us recognize the pattern .....and start responding differently.

That's the kind of real-life psychology we talk about at Shrinks on Tap. Follow along and let's dig a bit deeper. Together.

Parents: what part of the day tests your patience the most: mornings, after school, dinner or bedtime? 👇

Happy Labor Day! 💛

Today is a good reminder that rest isn’t wasted time.

Stepping away from work, disconnecting from the noise, slowing down, and doing something you genuinely enjoy gives your mind and body a chance to recharge.

You don’t have to be productive every minute of every day. Sometimes taking care of yourself means giving yourself permission to simply rest, breathe, and be present.

Whatever your Labor Day looks like, we hope you find a little time to unplug and enjoy it.
