This was such a special night. The poster got some signatures on it, some rain on it, some beer on it, and it’s the perfect metaphor for resilience. Stick it out even when the weather ain’t so favorable!

This guy is taking the Albuquerque R&B scene by storm: Fragileboy. He's a non-stop force and we've got the inside scoop on his latest moves. While most of us are just trying to keep up, Fragileboy is always a million steps ahead, and honestly, we're here for it!

Right now, he's dropping his fifth EP, and you know he's flooding the streets with fire content to go with it. He's also been rehearsing with his dancers for a ton of shows, including one on September 10th that we're all buzzing about! But here’s the real talk: even with all that going on, he’s already focused on the next project. That's the grind, and it's paying off. The hard work is real, and he's getting more and more radio play, building his name up in the city one track at a time.

For Fragileboy, it’s all about consistency. He wants to show every other artist out there that if you stay on your grind—dropping projects, performing your heart out, and always moving forward—the results will come.

And get this, he’s never won an award. Not a single one. But to him, that doesn't matter one bit. The real win, the real reward, is something way bigger and more meaningful: building a community around his music, his story, and his style. That connection with all of us, his fans, means more to him than any trophy ever could.

We're not just watching an artist; we're watching a movement. Fragileboy is the perfect example of what it means to be a true creator who values his people above all else. We are so stoked to be on this journey with him!

Declan O'Reilly is celebrating the fact that he has finally put together a full band, Declan O'Reilly and The Trouble. The new Americana group is set to play its very first show on 9/27 at Marble Brewery .

For the past year, Declan has been performing his solo songs around Albuquerque, and during that time, he made "tons of meaningful connections with so many amazing local musicians". He's been wanting to form a band to "fully realize [his] creative vision" and play bigger shows. The biggest challenge, however, was finding the right people.

He met Brian, the drummer for local band Taillight Serenade. It was "a great fit" from their first jam session. The timing was perfect, as Declan was offered a slot at the Marble Brewing X Monsoon show and quickly reached out to his musician friends, Bryan Yazzie, Sunyote Wild, and Jsck Boggs, as well as May Darnell to form the band.

Declan is as excited as it gets about the new project. He says playing his songs with a full band has been a "dream come true" and has allowed him to hear and express them "the way that they were always meant to be shared"

If you’re into the Albuquerque music scene, you’ve heard the name Edgar Wonder. Upon first meeting some would say he's chill and reserved, but the more you dig, the more you realize he’s a total creative powerhouse who’s been shaping the NM sound for years. And while he's everywhere, from the radio waves to the studio, he’s somehow managed to keep a super private life.

Edgar isn't just a producer; he's an award-winning artist in his own right, picking up trophies in everything from modern rock and Americana to film composing and even acting. His latest hit, "Vale Mas Tarde Que Nunca," sung by Felix Peralta and Lara Manzanares, is currently sitting pretty at #2 on NM radio! This isn't just about one song, though. Since 2017, he’s been producing some of New Mexico’s best artists, helping to grow their careers from the ground up—starting with Dymer, whose fanbase has been on the rise ever since.

His biggest move may have been starting Monsoon Music House when he was just 24 years old. His goal was simple but massive: create a place for artists to collaborate and build the kind of infrastructure that could support a major artist right here in New Mexico. It's that kind of vision that makes him a force to be reckoned with.

He's a workhorse, dedicating his entire life to his craft, but he’s not doing it alone this year. He’s teamed up with local giants like SOMOS, Blue River Productions, and Bands of Enchantment. His mission? To make Albuquerque the creative hub of the Southwest.

It’s no wonder so much is said about Edgar Wonder. The guy works with nearly everyone in the state and has a hand in so many incredible projects. How does he do it? He has a vision, and a relentless dedication to making it happen. We are so lucky to have him in our corner, building the scene we all love!

Sisterbaby took the stage at the New Mexico State Fair this year and for the band, it was an absolute "dream come true". They grew up watching artists at Tingley, so getting to perform on that legendary stage was a real honor.
This oppportunity included an appearance on Jam in The Van (JiTV) a Youtube channel with 500k+ subs and it features live performances in a van

"Tingley stage was officially the biggest one Sisterbaby has ever played, but the JITV crew was so professional and kind." Lillian Her said about the experience

A huge shout-out to everyone who made this happen, including
Joshua Lee, who got a hold of sisterbaby through mutual connection Cameron Beatty (Sisterbaby's lead guitar player)

Sisterbaby is also gearing up to release a new single off their upcoming album!. We can't wait to hear what they've been working on

Ryan Riddle is celebrating the success of his latest project, a music video he directed for the local band Los 33. The video for their song, "Luna Llena," has garnered over 2,500 views on YouTube since its completion ten months ago and has been selected for multiple film festivals.

Riddle's creative journey for the video began last year when producer Stephanie Ponce de Leon reached out to Los 33, about creating a music video. With a tight Halloween deadline, the team jumped in to create something spectacular.

The final product is a testament to the collaborative effort of everyone involved. Riddle is particularly proud of the end result, highlighting the "pace of the editing, the incredible production design, the energy from the extras, the matching costumes, the impressive makeup effects, the dramatic lighting," as well as the band's performance.

The "Luna Llena" music video has been an Official Selection at
the Shock Stock Film Festival in London, Ontario,
The Plaza Classic Film Festival in El Paso, Texas, and the
Tallgrass Film Festival in Wichita, Kansas.

Riddle expressed his excitement about the opportunity to get more "new eyes on our product" through these festivals.

"I'm just trying to make stuff," Riddle shared about his creative journey, whether it's short films, features, or music videos. He wants to "express myself and get a little bit of my crazy mind out there for the world to see," and thanks everyone who has been a part of it, from cast and crew to those who simply watch and offer emotional support

Less than Six months ago, NEH was walking across a graduation stage. Now, they’ve just finished performing on one of New Mexico’s biggest stages: Tingley Colliseum for Soundwave NM at the State Fair. The leap feels surreal, but it didn’t happen overnight.
The opportunity came after winning a Jam in the Van competition—a process that took over two months of promoting, hustling, and rallying support. It wasn’t glamorous. It was posting nonstop, pulling in favors, and putting themselves out there in ways that sometimes felt exhausting. But it paid off: a session with JITV and a chance to step on a stage they’d only recently watched others play.
The band also raised over $3,100 for CasaQ charity, which added weight to the whole experience. “It’s crazy to think we could play music and actually help out something bigger than us,” they shared.
Of course, NEH isn’t doing this alone. JITV opened the door, Monsoon Music and Checkmark Audio helped carry the load, Cassie and Josh captured it on camera, and their new manager Julius is pushing them further than before. Everyone is figuring it out together—because at this level, there’s no roadmap.
And there’s no slowing down. A new single is dropping this month, with three more shows on deck. It’s a lot to manage this soon after starting out, but NEH is leaning into the grind. Right now, it’s less about chasing perfection and more about chasing moments like Soundwave—where hard work, community, and a little luck line up.

To everyone who was ready to come out and support—thank you. Unfortunately, two of next week’s BOE Pre-Party shows will not go on due to last-minute cancellations outside of our control.

Our artists value consistency, professionalism, and respect for their artistry above all else. That’s why we’re so grateful Echoes stepped in to accommodate one of the cancelled performances. We love working with trusted partners to ensure music happens as planned.

Your support keeps these artists alive, and they’re committed to giving you the experiences you deserve!
