A little more about the founder Rex. Rex started off his performing arts career by training in the Chinese art of "Wushu" since 1999. In 2008, he broke Singapore's existing record by clinching 5 Gold medals in the national Wushu championship. Rex also represented his club in many major performances ( NDP, YOG, IOC, etc.). In order to purse his dreams, Rex travelled to the capital of Sichuan Chengdu in China during 2002 to pick up the skills of Traditional Mask Changing. Rex is the first in Singapore to do "Mask and Costume Change" infused with "Gangnam Style" , "Head Drop" and Puppet Mask Changing, this unique act caught the attention of the producer of Mediacorp Channel 8 live variety (The Sheng Siong Show) and was subsequently given an opportunity to performs. During the years of performance, Rex has also included magic, juggling and ventriloquist into his show. Talk to us to know more and we can customize the show according to your needs.

Introducing Coach Pei Yu

A former Penang Wushu State Team athlete, Coach Pei Yu’s achievements include 1st in Gunshu at the 7th World Kungfu Championships, 1st in Optional Daoshu at the Singapore National Wushu Championships, U20 Male All-Rounder Champion at the Chinwoo Shield Traditional Wushu Championship 2025 and Male 3-Event All-Rounder Award at the Invitational Wushu Championship 2026 (Traditional).

Specialising in Changquan, Daoshu, Gunshu and acrobatic stunts, he brings his competitive experience into coaching with a strong focus on fundamentals, movement quality, performance confidence and helping athletes develop towards competition.

Beyond technical coaching, Coach Pei Yu also brings a creative edge through his background in media and content creation. With experience in optional routine choreography and Nandu (difficulty movements), he works with athletes to build routines that are dynamic, distinctive and tailored to their individual strengths.

His combination of Wushu experience, coaching ability and creative choreography gives athletes a strong foundation while opening more possibilities for those progressing into optional routines.

Introducing Coach Darren

With 12 years of martial arts experience and 6 years of coaching, Coach Darren specialises in working with young children and beginner athletes, creating a structured yet engaging environment where they can build confidence and enjoy learning Wushu.

Known for his patience and ability to manage toddler and kids’ classes, he focuses on strong fundamentals, coordination and age-appropriate training while keeping each session encouraging and enjoyable.

Coach Darren’s key specialisations are Nanquan, Nandao and Nangun. His competitive achievements include podium finishes at the National School Games, as well as Gold in Nanquan and Nandao, Silver in Nangun, and the Outstanding Athlete Award at the 4th International Wushu Invitational Tournament.

Whether taking their first step into Wushu or progressing towards competition, Coach Darren is committed to helping every young athlete grow at their own pace.

With 24 years of martial arts experience and 13 years of coaching, Coach Desmond brings an exceptional combination of competitive excellence, professional stunt expertise and advanced acrobatic skills into his coaching.

A multiple-time Inter-School and National Champion across various martial arts disciplines, his expertise extends beyond competitions to professional stunt choreography, international stage performances and the film industry, where rich knowledge and technical mastery are essential.

Specialising in flips, jumps, parkour and complex aerial techniques, Coach Desmond combines his extensive performance experience with a structured coaching approach, helping students master challenging movements through proper technique, progressive training and safe ex*****on.

Whether you’re learning your first flip or refining advanced aerial techniques, Coach Desmond is well equipped to help students achieve their goals.

Introducing Coach Zimeng

With close to 10 years of coaching experience and 16 years in the sport, Coach Zimeng brings a structured and performance-focused approach to Wushu training, with emphasis on movement quality, training efficiency and injury prevention.

Zimeng is also an active Singapore National Wushu Team athlete who has represented Singapore at major international competitions, including the SEA Games, World Wushu Championships and Asian Wushu Championships, with notable results including a Bronze medal in Daoshu at the 2024 Asian Wushu Championship and a combined 2nd for Changquan-Dao-Gun at The World Games Series Hong Kong.

His key strengths lie in Changquan, Daoshu and Gunshu, with proficiency across Jianshu, Qiangshu, Nanquan, Nandao and Nangun. He also focuses on jumping techniques, difficulty movements, routine refinement and competition preparation.

As a bachelor graduate in Sports Science & Management, Coach Zimeng aims to help athletes understand their movements better, train with greater purpose and perform with greater consistency.

Introducing Coach Kaili

With 12 years of experience in Wushu, including 5 years assisting in coaching and 2 years as a main coach, Coach Kaili has guided students towards commendable results in achieving multiple gold medals both locally and internationally.

A former National Youth Team athlete and multiple-time Inter-School and National gold medallist herself, she brings both competitive experience and practical coaching knowledge into every session. While her strongest specialisation lies in Changquan, Jianshu and Qiangshu her extensive years of training and hands-on coaching have also developed strong technical proficiency across all Changquan, Jianshu, Qiangshu, Daoshu, Gunshu and Nanquan, Nandao, Nangun, allowing her to coach athletes across multiple disciplines and competitive levels.

Coach Kaili is committed to nurturing the next generation of athletes across different disciplines, helping each student strengthen their fundamentals, build confidence and push beyond their limits — shaping their future in Wushu and beyond.
