It started by a group of individuals who share the same passion for music way back in 2007. The first event was held at Center for Arts in Timog last August 10, 2007. From then on, Turquoise Production had regular gigs at Dayo Bar and Center for Arts – the two places that served as their ‘home’. In addition, Turquoise Production organized different events around the Metro such as Battle of the Ban
ds, Barangay Fiestas, and even victory parties for politicians. In 2011, the production was greatly challenged when bars in Quezon City started to close and stop operations, and it led the organizers to choose different careers and take a step away from the stage and spotlight. In 2013, the love and passion for music reunited Turquoise family to continue with their main goal – to help OPM bands of all genres with showcasing their talents and music. Comeback gigs were held at the Hydra, Mizmo, and Selda Dos bars. Currently, Turquoise Production aims to bring back the good old times, sustains and expands its operations. As long as there are “Turkistas” who support OPM and local scene, Turquoise Production will always remain.
