Our host today is Ms. Marie Joy “MJ” Bautista—also known as “The Sterling Host,” a title earned through her charismatic personality and remarkable ability to captivate any audience.
MJ is a licensed Event Manager, a Certified Event Coordinator since 2018, and a multi-awarded event planner with a total of 26 awards to her name. She is a proud three-time awardee and active member of the Event Experts of the Philippines, with events held in world-renowned venues and 5-star hotels, including the Mall of Asia Arena.
She holds a degree in Industrial Technology from Batangas State University and has completed the TESDA Event Management Services NC III program. With over 12 years of experience as a Virtual Assistant and BPO professional, MJ brings professionalism, structure, and excellence into every event she handles.
Her hosting journey began in 2014, and since then, she has gracefully hosted a wide range of events—from weddings, debuts, birthdays, and anniversaries to corporate events, seminars, product launches, concerts, mall shows, Christmas parties, team buildings, and more—always delivering a lively yet polished performance.
Beyond events, MJ is also a content creator, traveler, and entrepreneur, having explored 36 provinces across the Philippines and 7 countries worldwide. She is fluent in English and Tagalog, making her a versatile host for diverse audiences.
She has worked with 31 brands and companies and counting, collaborated with numerous celebrities, and has been featured in the Event Experts of the Philippines Spotlight Segment, as well as in commercial ads for Daikin Philippines and TV Patrol Southern Tagalog.
