Florists ARE artists, but we’re also flower wranglers, ladder climbers, bucket cleaners, snack givers, van packers, weather watchers, ribbon masters, thorn dodgers, heavy lifters, hydration specialists (just not for ourselves 🫠), zip tie engineers, problem solvers, early risers and professional “ahh just one more stem” adjusters ✨
We create under pressure, timelines, weather, logistics, changing seasons, tight install windows and with flowers that are alive, perishable, and that like to sulk at the most uncanny moments.
The process doesn’t begin on your wedding day.
It begins the moment you enquire with us.
We begin gathering ideas, shaping moodboards, refining colour palettes, discussing flower varieties, mechanics, movement, scale, texture, seasonality and how your florals will live within your venue and shape the feel of the day.
Months in advance, flowers are ordered and sometimes grown specifically for YOUR wedding.
A week before, they arrive at the studio where we process, hydrate, condition and nurture every stem to ensure they are at their absolute best for your big day.
Then comes the wedding day itself.
Early starts. Heavy lifting. Wind. Rain. Heat. Cold. Time pressure. Problem solving. Moving at insane speeds while crafting and perfecting our art of flowers.
And somewhere in amongst the chaos…
We stand back, tilt our heads left and right, move one stem, adjust the bud vases, tweak the colour balance, swap out flowers and constantly refine until it feels just right. just for you and your love.
