My current living room and kitchen bench situation 🌱

Now to decide what seeds to sow next… and then where on earth to put them!

I’m fast running out of indoor space, but with some very low overnight temperatures still hanging around, the tunnel houses aren’t quite ideal for some varieties just yet.

One thing is becoming very clear though — we are going to have a lot of plants this season! 🌱🌱

The plant cottage is coming together nicely 🌱

It’s taking a little longer than I imagined, but when you have a builder partner who likes to get things right the first time, I’m learning that patience is probably a good thing! (And in his defence, he does have a full-time job too!)

We’re so excited to eventually get it down to the end of our drive, fill it with plants and flowers, and open the doors for you to come and have a look.

We grow so many beautiful and unusual cut flower varieties here, and every season we end up with far more plants than we have room for in our own garden beds. It always seems such a shame for those extras to end up on the compost heap.

So that’s really where the idea for the plant cottage came from.

Most of what you’ll find here will be the harder-to-source varieties we already grow for cutting — beautiful flowers you can grow in your own garden and pick to enjoy at home.

There will be plenty more than just plants too, and I can’t wait to show you what we have planned. 🌿

It’s hard to believe that over a year has passed since S & C said “I do” at the breathtaking , and yet these beautiful images by still feel as magical as ever.

Their day was filled with love, laughter, and the most incredible backdrop of lake and mountain views, all thoughtfully brought together by Steph from .

The flowers were especially meaningful, with every bloom grown locally. Even the anemones, which were well out of season, seemed to have their own plans, appearing just in time for this special celebration. It felt as though nature itself was determined to be part of their day.

Looking back at these images is a beautiful reminder that the most memorable weddings are often the ones that feel effortlessly connected to the season, the landscape, and the people at the heart of it all.
