I only used two brushes (& a sponge) for this design. Both of the brushes are from the same “family” of brushes but two different brands. One from a well known Australian painter and one from a local NZ shop.

I’ve been loving this trend that I’ve been seeing in my feed. But for most it’s questioning months?! as they’ve all been doing it for years.

But for me… it’s not even been 2 years yet! Still, it is amazing looking back over that time to see the progress.

Some of my favourite arm paintings of late. The two boys at first were playing it super cool, “too old” for face paint. I managed to get them to come over and have a look and the second I pulled out my funky skull stencil (from ) they were immediately hooked in!

I love it when big kids get to enjoy the joy of face painting and just being kids. And my line filled immediately after they showed their friends. 🤩

Being a good painter is one thing, being able to engage with kids of all ages and encourage them to join in the fun is something else.
