Not confident with your line work? This one’s for you!

You don’t need to be amazing at lines to create a beautiful eye design.

This simple but beautiful eye design uses just a sponge, the two petal brushes from my last reel & a round brush for the dots.

No fancy line work. No complicated one stroke techniques. Just a few simple brush strokes & two versatile brushes that do A LOT of the work for you.

Save this for your next face-painting session — especially if line work isn’t your favourite! 🎨

It’s official…. I’m getting into the Halloween mood!

And if you think it’s too soon, you can blame the Facepainting Hub for putting on the most epic Spooky Tiger competition to win their newest split cakes!

What a blast it was painting again as part of the Circus In A Flash team at this year’s Zespri AIMS Games School Sporting Championships.

So many amazing young athletes making their schools and whānau proud both on and off the pitch! Some awesome manners in our painting trailer 👌

Spidey Eye was the number 1 design of the games this year. But lots you also trusted me to do whatever and it was a lot of fun!!

My fav was probably the rainbow, sunset, spidey eye! Epic combo 👌

I’ve had a lot of lovely new faces following me this week so I thought I’d reshare this Spidey Eye design tutorial using Mehron Makeup Starblends.

There are some great tips on using powders but also how to get those thick to thin lines that make this design pop.

First time in ages busting out the silicone & alcohol paints for an arm wound today. Can you believe there’s no fake blood used? I didn’t want it smearing on the couch 😅

A well negotiated exchange for letting me do the face paint wounds on his face. He certainly takes after his mum 🤣
