Thursday in the florist corner. Late spring in Hawke's Bay means the buckets are full of fresh stems, and every bunch gets trimmed, conditioned and arranged by hand before it leaves the shed. This magnolia wreath is one of the pieces we love making, slowly and with a good coffee nearby.

Spring at The Black Shed 🌸 Rosebuds, pea seedlings, cherry blossom and the first leaves on the vines, all from the garden at the shed this week.

Today is our last open day before the long weekend. We are closed Friday 23 and Monday 26 October, and back on Tuesday 27 October at 8am.

A heads up for the long weekend.

We're closed this Friday 23 October for Hawke's Bay Anniversary Day, and again on Monday 26 October for Labour Day. We reopen on Tuesday 27 October at 8am.

Come and see us on Thursday before the break. The cabinet will be full and the spring flowers are fresh, so it's a lovely day to treat yourself.
