I am often asked for small, pre-made flowers that my customers can just grab and go. Not having a physical retail store has made this challenging, so I’ve combined a bit of out of the box thinking, an amazing partner who is handy with tools and the Bloom Flower Stand was born. A rustic stand just tucked down the driveway, with stunning, fresh posies of seasonal flowers done the Bloom way! They’ll be out daily until sold out.

The holidays are upon us and I just wanted to take this time to say a massive thank you to all of those that have been on this ride with me since I took over Bloom in October. It has been an amazing first couple of months and I couldn’t be more grateful for the orders, words of encouragement and support shown from our amazing community.

I will be closing down for some much needed family time over the Christmas and New Year period but will be back and ready for orders from January 5th.

22nd - 23rd Dec: Open but deliveries only, so please preorder if you’d like fresh blooms for Christmas.

24th Dec - 4th Jan: Closed

5th Jan: Normal trade resumes for 2026

Who says you can't be both?! 🌸 👩🏼‍🚒💪🏼

This week and next, the art of floral arranging is taking a back seat to the intense training needed to be a firefighter!

As a dedicated volunteer firefighter, I'm returning to the Fire and Emergency National Training Centre in Rotorua from this Friday 12th December to next Wednesday 17th for another important course, which means Bloom Bouquets will be closed for all new orders over this time.

I’ll be focusing on fire, not flowers, but I’ll be thinking of all the beautiful creations I’ll make when I’m back in the studio on Thursday 18th December . You can pre order through the website for deliveries on my return, but if you are needing something while I’m away, the amazing Nina at is very happy to receive orders for her stunning arrangements from her flower farm.

Well, here goes! My name is Jess, and I’m so excited to officially introduce myself as the new face behind Bloom Bouquets.

First things first, a massive, heartfelt thank you to Rachel. The handover continues to be seamless, professional, and genuinely fun. Rachel, you’ve built Bloom into such a thriving, beautiful business, and you’ve certainly left me with some big boots to fill. I promise to do your amazing work justice, and I wish you and your family all the very best for whatever comes next!

A little about me: I’m a Bay View local, a busy Mum of 3 awesome kids and partner to Ellis. I am an avid peony lover, and a very proud member of the Bay View Volunteer Fire Brigade. When I'm not running around after the kids or listening for the siren, you’ll find me in my little, light-filled studio by the beach, combining my love for creativity and beautiful design with the simple joy of working with flowers.

My goal is to keep things simple: Continue to provide fresh, seasonal florals that bring a little moment of joy to your day. We’re all about supporting local, staying creative, and ensuring every arrangement is made to the highest quality.

I’m really looking forward to getting to know you all and am so grateful for the support so far!

EXCITING ANNOUNCEMENT

It been 8 amazing years since Bloom Bouquets was born - growing from a small side hustle in our garage, moving from one city to another, two boutique shops and working with an amazing group of staff, friends and loyal customers.

Changing every year- I am so excited to let you all know that we are handing over the reigns over to the amazing Jess - a wonderful, creative and perfect match for our brand.

This is obviously a very bitter sweet decision- but I’m so excited to have such an amazing, fresh and talented mind, step in to take Bloom to the next level!

I just want to say a massive thank you to everyone who was a part of Blooms journey up till now- our fantastic loyal customers, my amazing staff over the years and of course my family who have put up with my floral obsession for so many years! This is not a goodbye- I know I’ll see you all out there, and perhaps when I find my next creative venture!

To all of our regulars, I’m spending a few weeks with Jess, handing things over, and rest assured - things won’t change too much- order as usual and Jess will make sure she goes above and beyond to create the beautiful, high quality flowers that you all love!
I will also still be on board till the end of 25/26 wedding season to complete all of the exciting weddings already booked.
To all of our corporates, things will continue as usual, and I’ll get in touch to introduce you to Jess personally!
