Had to get the binoculars out to see what marine life was floating past work today.

Was it another whale?
A seal?

Nope. Turned out to be a black swan enjoying the ocean today 🧐

One of my favourite things about living in Kaikōura, is that you can be driving along and think: 'Hmm, I think I just saw a whale'.

So, you pull over and stop to look. And, it is indeed a whale, cruising past, living its best life 🐋 🐳 🐋

It was whaley exciting 😆

What to do when you have a full day in Kaikōura?

Mt Fyffe is looking amazing at the moment! Headed up to the summit with and the incredible Charlie 🐾🐾 to see how much snow was left at the top.

We can confirm - Kaikōura is just as beautiful from up there as it is from the bottom 🏔
