“Kaikōura District Council have put out 50 Year Economic Development Strategy. The strategy is good but misses capturing Kaikōura’s way of life. Those that grow, fish, hunt, bake, make, heal, preserve, cook and live here for the abundance that nature brings.

Are you a:
🐄 Farmer working with the land
🪶 Hunter, forager, fibre maker, carver, grower and teacher.
🎣 Recreational fisher turning a day's blue cod and crayfish into kai on your plate.
🌿 Rongoā workshops teaching native plant medicine and traditional knowledge, clinic days and traditional healing.
🍳 Farm cooking school using local food, mountains to sea.

A group of passionate community members have put together a submission to council around our local regenerative community but they need your support.
