🎉 Happy 13th MASHversary to Charlyne (aka Angus) on the left! Back in 2012, she started as a Kitchen Hand at Province Restaurant at The Hideaway - and through years of hard work, dedication, and a bit of guidance from Mat, she’s become a qualified chef now leading the charge at the MASH X Uppercuts - Food Trailer and helping to smash out our big catering gigs across Southland and Otago.
She often refers to Mat as “the big brother I never knew I didn’t want” 😂 - but we couldn’t be more grateful for her loyalty, work ethic, and the huge part she’s played in shaping MASH into what it is today.

Here’s to another 13 years of laughs, loyalty, and epic work stories! 👏

📸 Recently we had the pleasure of welcoming Mat’s youngest boy, Saben, onboard the MASH x Uppercuts Food Trailer to snap some shots for his Level 2 Photography Board/Assessment.

Pictured here: our Uppercuts Double Beef Smash Burger 🍔 Double Beef Patties, Cheese, Pickles, Lettuce, MASH-made Bacon Jam (yes, with Uppercuts streaky bacon!) and our Burger Sauce.

He nailed the before and the during shots… but there was zero chance of an after photo 😅 (these don’t hang around long!).
