In the last two weeks, we have served 8150 dishes at weddings, conferences, memorial services, and business events, including morning or afternoon teas, lunches, canapés, and dinners! 😱 That is more than half of the total number we achieved throughout the previous year!
We are very grateful to the following local businesses for their assistance this week: Jack Refrigeration Ltd, Koha Kai, Southern Seafood Products, Barnes Oysters, Front-Line Training, Ambrosia Floral Design, KIWI SKIPS, Super Liquor Lorneville, Crisp NZ, and Uppercuts Butchery, Winton. Many thanks are also due to the following venues: Hedgehope Hall, Paddocks/Homesteads, RiverRidge Retreat, The Hideaway 201, Invercargill Central, The Invercargill Workingmen's Club and Bill Richardson Transport World. 🫶
We appreciate our past staff members who stepped forward to help us out this week! It was a lot of fun. The greatest gratitude, however, goes out to our most incredible crew. Despite getting very little sleep, you all performed exceptionally. Everyone deserves a special shout-out, but Connor, our kitchen hand, food prepper, waiter, serial crate lifter, dog sitter and Mat's other son, deserves special recognition. Over the past two weeks buddy, your endurance and work ethic have been amazing. 🫶🫶🫶
