Canterbury Day 1: Waikuku Beach walk with a secret garden through the bush (wow over achieving there) then off to meet my fabulous couple to talk through the ceremony for their wedding in December. Just look at these platters that greeted me on arrival, outstanding effort Gina Dellabarca and thanks for the meet up 𝑴𝑨𝑹𝒀 𝑱𝑨𝑽𝑰𝑬𝑹 exciting times!

So lucky to be accepted into Te Wānanga o Aotearoa te Reo full time study NZ Cert level 1. It is so important to use and pronounce the language properly and to understand the use of it in Aotearoa today. Best of luck to my lecturer!

A little throwback to River and Cossie’s beautiful autumn wedding.
Their ceremony had a little bit of everything… lake ring blessings, handfasting, broom jumping, a touch of romance, a little pagan magic and just enough witchy energy.
The brief was “meaningful and full of love… slightly gothic, pagan, witchy vibes.”
I think we can safely say the brief was delivered. 🖤

Whoop whoop! I’ve just been reappointed as an Independent Marriage and Civil Union celebrant for another year! Let’s gooooooooo! Can’t wait to help my couples create wonderful memories with their nearest and dearest. Here’s to another year of love, laughter and happy tears ❤️

Every ceremony I write is personal and one of a kind! I spend hours and hours getting each one right, because your day deserves words that actually sound like you. One of my favourite touches is creating special “enactments” that bring children into the ceremony. I have many other ways too. For blended families especially it is a lovely way to make everyone feel part of the “I do”. If you are engaged, thinking about it or getting married again and want a celebrant who will actually spend time getting to know your family and weave it into a ceremony, flick me a message. Wedding Enactments - Your Wedding, your way!
River and Cossie had a ring blessing with water straight from the lake, handfasting with different coloured rope representing their home counties as well as Aotearoa and my personal fav BROOM JUMPING! Wonderful ways to involve special people in the ceremony ❤️
