The Korean Junglist, better known as G-BANGA, was raised in Auckland’s underground drum & bass scene. From a young age, he honed his skills across multiple instruments — brass, piano, guitar, and drums — before diving deep into producing and DJing
His mixing style is endlessly versatile, blending reggae dub, breakbeat, 140 NZG, old skool jungle, footwork, and minimal rolling wobblers. He’s supported some of the scene’s heaviest hitters, including Kara, Crossy, Original Sin, Sub Zero, and Gino, and most recently warmed up for Irah in Kerikeri. His sets don’t just deliver banging sounds — they take you on a proper journey to the dancefloor. He is part of the Parallel Layers artist collective.
