An exciting announcement...new owners of Matua Ahikrimi are launching today at The Skate park on Grey Street. This is a big step for the new young owner so let's support her whanau.

Yes this is the old Mr Whippy Truck but rebranded and renewed.

A few points to remember. This is their first day operating so have some patience. The good news is they are giving away FREE ICE CREAM CONES SINGLES from 1pm to those who like their page UNTIL THEY RUN OUT.

It is with a heavy heart we announce the passing of Herewini Tawa...one of the founding staff members of Spitfire who was our OG Spitmaster. We learnt alot from Herewini and loved him for everything he was...we will miss you so much Herewini...we send our condolences and aroha to Hine, Tamiti and Hami his three tamariki...hope you are enjoying a Steiny at the bar in sky my friend.

Kia Ora Spitfire Whanau...a long time away from the Spit with Covid19 destroying our Summer season of catering. A belated Happy New Year to your all and hope you and your whanau are all well.

Happy to say we were able to cater Ali & Mason's Wedding this week and celebrate their great day with them. Huge day with perfect weather, perfect location, and perfect kai. A huge thanks to the host Mark who helped us hugely.

Another outstanding weekend with the Tāiki e whanau supporting their amazing kaupapa of Startup Weekend. A huge thank you to Cain and Renay and the team they have built to orgqnise this event once again. A big congratulations to the whanau who participated and to the teams that made it through the weekend. Congratulations to the winning team WA KAi and those that placed. Cannot wait to see how your journey unfolds.
