Luke and I put out a classic house EP called lower frequency recently. Here’s some tracks that inspired the work and a little bit behind the scenes.

Not Your Average Duck

Our debut EP comes out Saturday 💿Luke and I are doing things different.

We decided to put our underground house tracks out first. The music we grew up on resonated the most with us. Out of a few dozen tracks we picked the two least commercial ones.

The pair of us connected with slower and more soulful records over the last few months and remembered clubs like the Chicago warehouse bringing people together from all walks of life.

To celebrate we’ll be heading down to Solar Flair Aotearoa this weekend and sharing our favourite disco and soulful house records. We’d love you to come down and share the dance space.

Hope you enjoy the Lower Frequency EP.

Two lunatics get sidetracked making records and go to their favourite festival for inspiration. Best field trip ever.

Here’s a draft of an ID the three of us are working on. Ain’t polished and little rough but that’s how we write tracks together. We chase the vibe not perfection 💿.
