At 44, I stopped waiting for the right time, because I finally understood there isn’t one.

There’s no perfect moment to start the thing, leave what’s stopped fitting, book the ticket, send the message.
There’s just now, and the quiet courage to choose yourself before you feel ready.

I used to think starting over in my 40s meant I’d left it too late. It didn’t. It meant I knew, for the first time, exactly what I wanted, and who I was no longer willing to keep waiting to become.

This decade isn’t the leftovers. It’s the beginning. x

SEASON 2, EPISODE 1 ✨

When people talk about healing, they often focus on the breakthroughs, the transformations, or the destination.

But what did the very first step actually look like?

For me, it wasn’t a grand plan or a life-changing moment. It was slowing down. Creating space. Learning to sit with discomfort instead of running from it.

After years of pushing, striving, and disconnecting from myself, I began asking one simple question each morning:

“What does my body need today?”

The answers weren’t always big. Sometimes they were surprisingly simple. But they were always guiding me toward the next right step.

In this first episode of Season 2 of Back To Self, I’m sharing how reconnecting with my inner voice became the foundation for everything that followed.

When we quieten the external noise and learn to trust ourselves again, healing has a way of unfolding naturally.

Let me know: what’s one small way you reconnect with yourself when life feels noisy?

I’m currently rebuilding a 100-year-old villa, and it’s teaching me more about life than I expected.

I thought rebuilding would be about choosing paint colours, fixtures, and furniture. Instead, it’s been about stripping things back.

Back to the frame. Back to the foundations. Back to what actually matters.

And honestly? There have been moments where rebuilding looked less like a beautiful renovation montage and more like me sitting on the kitchen floor wondering what I’ve gotten myself into.

But maybe that’s the lesson. Sometimes rebuilding isn’t about constructing something new. It’s about having the courage to remove what no longer belongs.

The old layers. The old stories. The old version of yourself.

Because whether it’s a home, a business, or your life, you can’t build something strong without first understanding the foundations.

And sometimes rock bottom isn’t the end of the story.
Sometimes it’s the perfect place to start. 🤍

Back to myself season one was the beginning.

A glimpse into the journey of finding my way back to myself after one of the most challenging chapters of my life.

Season two goes deeper.

Not into the highlights, but into the everyday moments. The practices, rituals, mindset shifts, and tools that have helped me reconnect with myself on both the hard days and the good ones.

My hope is that somewhere throughout this season, you’ll discover something that resonates. Something that reminds you of yourself. Something you can take into your own life.

Because coming back to yourself isn’t a destination.
It’s a practice.

Season 2 of Back To Myself begins June 10.
I can’t wait to share it with you. 🤍

Sometimes the bravest thing you can do is walk through the door.

Not because you know you’ll be good at it. Not because you feel confident. But because something inside you knows it’s time to try.

This week I had the privilege of welcoming some new faces into class, and I was reminded of something we all forget from time to time.

Growth rarely feels comfortable. The nerves, the uncertainty, the little voice asking “what if I can’t?” are often signs that we’re stepping into something new.

What if instead of seeing nerves as fear, we saw them as excitement?

A reminder that we’re alive. A reminder that we’re growing.
A reminder that we’re showing up for ourselves.

To everyone who has started something new lately, whether it’s a class, a conversation, a dream, or a new chapter, I’m proud of you.

Keep showing up. Your future self will thank you for it. 🤍

With everything circulating online right now, I want to say something.

Your body is not a trend.

There is so much content telling you to get smaller. To take up less space. To shrink, restrict, optimise.

But I want to offer you a different lens. What if movement had nothing to do with how you look at the end of it?

What if it was just... yours? Something you did because it cleared your head. Because it reminded you that you are still here. Because it felt like coming home to yourself after a long day of being everything to everyone else.

The goal was never to be smaller. The goal was always to feel more like yourself.

Move for that.

Back to Myself — Episode 4 🤍

There comes a point where your body, your heart and your life no longer let you keep carrying what isn’t aligned. And sometimes healing doesn’t begin with a breakthrough.

Sometimes it begins with letting go.
Letting go of the pressure. The proving. The relationships, lifestyles and versions of yourself that no longer feel true.

Choosing yourself can look quiet at first. Slow. Intentional. Uncomfortable. But little by little, you start listening again.
To your body. To your intuition.

To what’s been calling you home all along. ✨
