And just like that… our final two Ivy Black setups are complete. 🖤🥹

One for a beautiful customer, and the other for our own daughter. That one was extra special, knowing it would officially be the last setup id ever get to create for one of our own kiddies under Ivy Black Events. A little bittersweet, that’s for sure. ❤️

As we slowly pack down and say goodbye, our beautiful pieces are finding new homes with event hire businesses throughout Canterbury, Dunedin and even Wellington!

There’s something so special about knowing that little pieces of Ivy Black will continue creating memories, celebrating milestones and spreading the love all across New Zealand. 🥹✨

To every single person who has booked us, supported us, recommended us, shared our work or trusted us with their special moments over the years THANK YOU. You’ve made this little business something we’ll forever be proud of.

We’ve poured so much love, time and hard work into Ivy Black over the years, and while this chapter is coming to an end, it’s lovely knowing our pieces will live on in someone else’s story.

A few more weekends to go before we officially sign off for good.

✨ Something old, something new… something borrowed, something BEAUTIFUL! 💍🤍

Well, it’s officially time to say goodbye to two of our absolute favourites! 🥹

Our iconic Mr & Mrs statement lighting and stunning Jasmine Flower Wall have found their new home with our lovely friends at Borrowed Something New! 🥂

These beauties have been part of so many special celebrations, and while it’s a little bittersweet seeing them go, we couldn’t be happier knowing they’ll continue making wedding magic for many more happy couples! ✨

A little piece of Ivy Black lives on, and we absolutely love that! 🖤

🖤 AN UPDATE FROM IVY BLACK EVENTS 🖤

After three wonderful years of creating beautiful celebrations, we’ve made the difficult decision to begin closing Ivy Black Events.

As we gradually wind down, we wanted to share a few important updates with our lovely clients and followers.

✨ Existing bookings: All confirmed bookings remain valid and will be honoured as planned.

✨ New bookings: We will only be accepting new bookings for events taking place within the 4 weeks of event date, subject to availability.

✨ Hire stock sale: Our extensive collection of event styling and hire equipment will gradually be available for purchase. Items will be released for sale accordingly, ensuring all existing bookings can still be fulfilled.

If you’ve had your eye on any of our beautiful pieces, please feel free to get in touch! We’re welcoming enquiries from individuals and fellow event businesses interested in purchasing stock.

We are incredibly grateful for everyone who has supported Ivy Black Events over the years. It’s been an absolute privilege to be part of so many special celebrations, and we look forward to giving our beautiful collection a new home.

This colour combo though 😍💚

Metallic teal, silver, ch*****ne & ivory, I don’t think we’ve ever used this combination before and I’m obsessed with how it came together!

The metallic finishes just hit differently ✨ paired with our light-up 60s, it was such a gorgeous setup for a special 60th birthday.

Definitely a colour combo I’d love to do again! 🤍

💕 The Millie Package… with a little something extra ✨

We gave one of our most popular packages a glow-up for this gorgeous 30th! 💗

The Millie Package, upgraded with a shimmer wall and RGB lighting to make those pinks, reds and silvers POP ✨

But this setup was a little extra special for us. We’ve had the absolute privilege of styling some pretty incredible milestones for this beautiful returning customer, her engagement, her wedding, and now her 30th birthday! 🥹💕
