LAST CHANCE: PAREIDOLIA EXHIBIT ENDS SEP 1 🌸 Come explore, contemplate, and be transported. 😍Pareidolia is the impulse to find meaning in the abstract faces in clouds, stories in shapes. This exhibition is a playground for the senses, where perception and imagination meet.

Through abstract paintings and sculptural handmade lamps, multimedia artist Julia Krystyna invites you to reflect, wonder, and notice what rises when we let go of needing clear answers.

🌍 Sustainability is important to us. Raising awareness around environmental issues is a shared responsibility.

Did you know that each year, over 92 million tons of clothing end up in landfills, piling up around the world and taking hundreds of years to decompose? Fast fashion is creating mountains of waste—and we can do better.

We want to support positive change, that's why we’ve organized a Clothes Swap Day to coincide with Fashion Week (FAM, brought to you by ) — come enjoy tea, tunes, in a stitch & bitch sesh and give your clothes a second life.

We’re also hosting an Upcycling Workshop for hats and headpieces 🧵🎩. Bring along your materials (fabrics, glue, sewing kit, feathers, or anything you’d like to repurpose) and get creative!

We live in times of great uncertainty. Anxiety, fear, and doubt naturally arise; but staying SANE is not about escaping the chaos. It’s about cultivating clarity, presence, and conscious action within the turbulence.

This 3-hour practical workshop with Maya Nova introduces the SANE framework as your inner compass for turbulent times. Through mindfulness, mindset, and self-awareness practices, you’ll move beyond understanding SANE into living it.

⭐️NEIGHBOUR HIGHLIGHT 🥐 LA NOISETTE FRENCH BAKERY 🥖Tucked on colourful Karangahape Road, La Noisette is where the air itself smells like butter, chocolate, and fresh-baked magic. Run by sister–brother duo Oscar and Sam, this boutique bakery has been delighting Auckland since 2013 with pastries that are truly merveilleux.

Step inside and you’ll find regulars lined up for melt-in-the-mouth croissants, exquisite chocolates, and fancies that stop people in their tracks. The secret? Oscar, a French-trained pastry chef with years at some of Auckland’s top establishments (The Grove, Sky City, Philippe’s Chocolates & Pastries), pours true passion into every bake. She even teaches pastry at MIT and Selwyn College; so you know La Noisette Chocolats & Pâtisseries is the real deal.

Meanwhile, Sam holds the fort out front, matching people with their perfect coffee or a 70% Callebaut café mocha, and sparking conversations that range from jazz to philosophy.

✨ Pro tip: Go early to catch pastries straight from the oven and grab extras to take away.
