Lighting Gives the Concert Its Energy

Lighting is one of the most noticeable elements of a concert stage.
It determines what the audience sees, establishes the mood and helps translate the music into a visual experience.

A lighting design may combine front lighting, backlighting, washes, profile fixtures, moving lights and other effects. Each serves a different purpose.

Front lighting helps the audience see performers clearly. Backlighting separates performers from the background and creates silhouettes. Wash lighting colours larger areas of the stage, while moving lights can introduce motion and dramatic changes.
