The Cookie Jar Complot- Hate Unlimited - UK Tour 2026 is done!!!
A rollercoaster of a week...days on the road with many ups and downs...tour life that's what it's called...every touring band knows the issues, but that's part of the game and indie touring...and we love it (at least most of the time;))!
Despite many unforseen technical issues, The Cookie Jar Complot sailed through the week like champions, and it's been an absolute pleasure to join them yet again on British terrain.
Well done lads, thank you for the music and moments, new songs are fantastic (some I even heard first time live), big up.
And a huge thank you goes out to everyone who helped to make this adventure possible.
We kicked things off at Little Buildings in Newcastle alongside the wonderful Poly-Math, Midnight Jazz Club and Eigengrau. What a way to start the week.
Next stop was Darwen Live at Sunbird Records part of the UK's biggest free music festival. A fantastic atmosphere and an incredible crowd.
A special mention goes to Trapdoor Studios in Liverpool for welcoming us for a memorable studio day between shows.
Manchester brought us to The Peer Hat where we shared the stage with She The Throne and Mrs Frighthouse, unfortunatly Holy Wounds couldn't join us that night, nevertheless a very damp (it was so hot haha), but brilliant evening.
Thank you to everyone at Arundel Emporium in Sheffield for another warm welcome Thank you Death Rituals and Daughters Of The Flaming Sword for supporting, great stuff.
After a couple of much-needed days to catch our breath (hottest May UK tour ever;)) we somehow managed to pull off the grand finale on 30 May with two shows in one day: proudly opening Cvltfest in Scunthorpe before racing across to Liquid Light Brewing Company in Nottingham to close the tour in true Cookie Jar Complot fashion.
Highlights, you ask?
Yesss, every day was a highlight, sharing stages with old friends and new friends alike, Darwen the tower, the studio session at Trapdoor, opening Cvltfest and the madness of playing two shows on the same day, countless motorway miles, late-night laughs, roadside meals, and seeing so many familiar and unfamiliar faces supporting independent music.
Massive thanks to every venue, promoter, booking agent, sound engineer, volunteer, host, driver, photographer, merch buyer, floor provider and supporter who crossed our path during the week.
Most importantly, thank you to everyone who came to the shows. DIY music survives because people care enough to turn up.
Until next time, UK, cheers 🍪🔥🤘😊❤️
