I work with couples who don’t want their wedding to feel like a tourist package, but rather a custom Amalfi experience designed just for them. Then she walked in beneath the olive branches, and it couldn’t stay quiet anymore.
It broke open in a smile he didn’t even try to hide, in the tears her friends let fall freely, in her hands rising to his face as if she had been waiting a lifetime to hold it.
And once they were finally each other’s, they didn’t let go: that was the beginning of everything they have been longing for.

Some evenings feel like they were painted rather than planned.

As the sun began to set over Positano, the couple welcomed their guests to tables facing the sea, dressed in a soft riot of sunset colours: blooms in every shade of pink, creamy yellow and pale blue spilling across the linen, while tall blush candles flickered to life one by one. Below, the boats rocked gently in the bay; above, the village started to glow.

A reception made for lingering, for toasting, for falling in love all over again.

The Amalfi Wedding Note: On why intimacy matters

Scale has never been the measure of a beautiful wedding.

The celebrations that move me most are often the ones where everyone around the table truly knows the couple: the friend who was there the night they met, the grandmother who saw it all coming. Nobody is just watching. Everyone is woven into the moment.

When the circle is smaller, nothing is there by chance. Each choice carries meaning, each glance across the room carries history, and emotions have room to rise to the surface.

What stays with people long after the last dance isn’t how grand it was or how it looked. It’s how close they felt to the people they love.

A day in Capri always starts the same way: a walk along winding paths, the scent of lemons and sea salt in the air, views that stop me in my tracks no matter how many times I’ve seen them. Then the work begins, scouting corners, imagining tables, picturing the couples who will soon call this island part of their story.

I still can’t believe this is where I get to work. This island taught me that beauty is the best place to begin.
