White has a way of holding stillness better than any other color.

Before the first note plays, before anyone stands, there’s a moment suspended: white against the water, refined and unshouting, the sea stretching out like it’s simply waiting its turn to witness. Everything was chosen to blend into the view, softly, the way still water holds light without trying.

Then it breaks : the emotion arrives all at once, the way it always does. But this, right here, is the part worth remembering. The quiet before the biggest feeling of the day.

A wedding day is really just one long love letter, written in moments instead of words.

Theirs read like this: a glance across the room before anyone else noticed. A hand resting exactly where it belonged. Laughter shared like a secret. A silence between them that said more than any speech could. Through every hour, they carried the same quiet devotion: elegant without effort, romantic without excess.

You don’t often get to witness two people this sure of each other. Today, we did.

That’s the kind of love the Amalfi Coast simply gets to borrow for an afternoon.

Some tables ask for restraint. This one asked for color: just softer.

Pastel tones against the sea, layer after layer of them, until the table and the water seemed to be speaking the same language.

A farewell lunch, sea view included, that was worth the trip on its own.

Some weddings are built by adding. Others are built by taking away.

For this couple on Li Galli, we chose the second path.

White, stone, the island’s natural tones left to speak for themselves. One single long table, because we wanted one story unfolding, not several small chapters running side by side everyone seated in the same moment, under the same light. Above it, chandeliers framing the table from overhead, a touch of formality against so much raw nature.

Every detail had to pass through the same question: does this place actually need it, or do we just want it?

Most ideas didn’t survive that question.

The result wasn’t a wedding full of beautiful things to look at.
It was a wedding where every beautiful thing had a reason to be there.

Sometimes the most elegant design is the one you have the courage to leave out.
