I always tell new couples I’ll keep it professional. I never manage to.
Then we spend a year planning the most important day of their lives. Along the way I learn a lot about them. I’m the one they call when they need steadying, and the one who stays calm so they don’t have to be.
By the wedding, I’m invested in a love story that isn’t even mine. Years in, and it still happens every time.
Maybe that’s the wrong way to run a business. I’ve decided I don’t mind.
I’ll care about your day almost as much as you do. After 180 weddings, I don’t know how to do it any other way.

I’ve always wondered why wedding planning prices are so often kept a secret.

My planning fee starts at €4,500 and I’m comfortable saying that before you fill out an enquiry form or book a call.

Of course, every wedding is different, and the final fee can vary depending on the scope, complexity and number of events.

But I think couples should be able to understand from the beginning whether a planner fits their budget.

Two wedding dresses. Or three.
When should you change?

There are no rules about when you should change your wedding dress.

It comes down to your preferences, the moments you want to experience in each look, and how you want the day to flow.

If you have two dresses, I most often see the second look come in after dinner, around the cake cutting, first dance or as the party begins.

Changing before dinner works too. In that case, your second dress becomes part of the reception from the beginning: dinner, cake cutting, first dance and everything that follows. The trade-off is simply less time in your first dress.

With three dresses, the second look can come in for dinner, with the third saved for the party.

One detail worth considering: allow at least 15–20 minutes for each change. Depending on the dress, it can easily take 30 minutes, before adding any hair, make-up or accessory changes.

With two changes, that can mean 30–60 minutes away from your own celebration.

So decide which dress you want to wear for dinner, the cake cutting, your first dance and the party.

Your preferences come first. The timeline simply needs to make them work.
