Fun Fact. Did you know? ✈️

Bradley International Airport is named after Second Lieutenant Eugene M. Bradley, a young pilot who died during a training exercise at the air base in 1941.

The airfield was named Bradley Field in his honour, and over time it grew into the airport we know today as Bradley International Airport — now one of New England’s most convenient gateways.

For Irish travellers, BDL is also the gateway to Connecticut, Massachusetts and wider New England, with direct Aer Lingus service from Dublin.

A name with history. A gateway with heart.

Bradley International Airport at the America 250 Travel Trade BBQ

Michael and Colm were delighted to represent Bradley International Airport at the America 250 Travel Trade BBQ, held on Wednesday, 8 July at NoLita on South Great George’s Street, Dublin.

It was wonderful to see so many members of the Irish travel trade in attendance for a fun evening celebrating America 250. There was a fantastic atmosphere, with some great prizes won throughout the evening.

Thank you to everyone who attended and, in particular, to the Visit USA Committee Ireland for organising such an enjoyable event.
