Designers Dan Eames and Aoife Pierce have teamed up to create an infographic that provides insight and transparency ahead of the Divorce Referendum, and the EU and local elections on Friday.

The infographic provides prospective voters with a view of electoral candidates Twitter activity in response to the last two referendums, many tweeted Yes on both occasions but two were definite No tweeters; while some remained silent in the face of controversy, others were entirely absent from the conversation on
one or both occasions.

“By sharing your own experience and what you’ve gone through you can you help somebody else. With the mentorship programme you get this guide book and on the first page it says what’s your five year plan and I couldn’t even tell you what I’m going to do tomorrow let alone five years down the line.”

A fantastic District Magazine feature on Kim and Zie, one of our mentor and mentee duos, who joined forces during The Other Mentoring Programme. 👇

Our Story

Above the Fold was born from a collective enthusiasm for art, design and creative culture in Ireland. After witnessing an exodus of young, talented creatives we decided to share (our limited) resources to create an event that would commend Ireland’s motivated, enthusiastic and driven artists, designers, chefs, stylists, writers, architects… the list goes on.

We believe that Ireland boasts a highly ambitious, well-educated and talented resource pool and it is worth showcasing emerging and established creatives, in order to influence and inspire our audience.
