SUPERSTARS BOOK CLUB REVIEW

So what did you ALL think?
Did it live upto being in the Top 10 of books for 2025?

I am not sure it lives upto being in the top 10 books of 2025 across the world, but i really enjoyed the book. Loved the characters relationship with her neice, and it makes me remember that some relationships were not seem as acceptable in the 1980s, so glad we have moved on. I can see this story being made as a film. I will definitely read more "Taylor Jenkins Reid" books - so glad i have a new author to listen too.

I have an amazing inspirational book for June ...... this is one I cannot wait to listen too.

WORLD TURTLE DAY
If anyone asked me what my favourite animal is, up until about a year ago and I would have said a dog, but then I looked at my ornaments, and stuff I have on walls and realised it was a Turtle.

FACTS about Turtles
Turtles are ancient reptiles that have lived on Earth for over 200 million years, surviving since the time of the dinosaurs. They are recognized by their hard, bony shells, which are actually part of their skeleton and cannot be removed. Turtles live in both water and on land, breathing air and laying eggs on sandy beaches.

Key Facts About Turtles
1. Turtles have been around for over 200 million years.
2. Their shell is made of over 50 bones and is attached to their ribs.
3. Turtles do not have teeth; they have sharp, beak-like mouths to eat food.
4. Some turtle species can live over 100 years.
5. They can live in oceans (sea turtles), freshwater (rivers/ponds), or on land (tortoises).

Many countries have robust conservation in place for the hatching of their young which I have personally when been on holidays>

National Rescue Dog Day is observed on May 20, and it aims at encouraging people to adopt dogs from shelters and rescues.

It also focuses on educating children about animals and their benefits, and raising awareness to the importance of spaying and neutering your pets.

The RSPCA estimates that around 3.3 million dogs arrive at shelters every year, either because they were abandoned, abused or rescued. National Rescue Dog Day highlights the fact that all these dogs need and deserve a forever home.

Our new obstacle course and activity combo has been added to our website and available to book for a 25% deposit to secure the day required

A chance meeting by two business people, Louise Nicholson of Superstars Holiday Club and Ady Adnan who runs a north west logistics business bringing together both their business skills to create Superstars Inflatables.

STAR WARS DAY
Over the years I have probably seen most of the Star Wars Movies. My personal favourite is Empire Strikes Back
I am not a big fan, but they do not offend me to watch as they say

SUPERSTARS BOOK CLUB
I love to listen to audible books and I also like to read. Audible is my main way of reading a book as it were, so I wanted to see if we could get a book club going, I will do a recommendation and we can give our reviews on the 25th of the month.

I keep seeing this book as a one to read, and I have personally never listened or read anything by Taylor Jenkins Reid but it does seem to be placed as one of the Top 10 books of 2025
