The Rustic Stomp - so what's it all about..?!

Americana, Anglicana, Celtic and Cushty, music of every tradition and no tradition at all, it all comes together at Rustic Stomp. It’s in the way we walk, talk, every beat of the heart – togetherness, but not w***y elitism, there’s unity in them thar hills…
Roots music? Why, yes! Water music? That too. It’s the rhythm of the soil. Now, mix it up – muddy the water, pull at the roots. Ah, that does the job. Muddy Roots, the pulse of Rustic Stomp.
Bluegrass, country, punk, blues, jazz and folk; crossovers, collaborations and creative collisions. Electronica too. We all have Muddy Roots, we’re all from everywhere at one time or another.
It’s a state of mind. Don’t think; feel. There are no qualifications; no absolutes. If you have to ask then you probably shouldn’t, but don’t worry, trust that you’ll just know. No matter what you look like, how you speak, who you know, or where you’re from, we can all belong; a shared humanity.
Four beats in a bar, natural. A mirror of how we walk; a match for the motion of our steps. A natural heartbeat – nature’s pacemaker, they say. It’s the rhythm by which we first make sense of the world. It connects us, directs us and leads us unto… the Rustic Stomp.
