Our U13s have dedicated a week of their summer holidays to rugby, focusing on the season ahead.

They thought about what rugby means to them, what they bring to their team and the core rugby values, before heading out to the pitch to put it all in to practice.

A huge thank you to the coaching team for giving up their time to make this possible❤️🖤

Ten of our U15s squad recently attended the Leicester Tigers residential camp at Denstone College. 🏉💪

The lads threw themselves into a full week of pre-season training, learning from top coaches, developing new skills, and building great team spirit.

We’re especially proud to share that Matt Pike was named U15/16 Player of the Week 👏 – a brilliant achievement and a credit to the whole squad’s hard work.

Well done boys – you’ve done SRFC proud! ❤️🖤

This weekend’s pre-season fixture against Kesteven has unfortunately been cancelled!

We will be back at home in September as our league fixtures begin! Keep an eye out for dates and times.

We’re proud to announce that Mark Davies has been appointed as Club Captain for Sleaford RFC❤️🖤

A long-standing member of the club and passionate ambassador for the game, Mark brings experience, energy and a deep love of rugby to the role.

As Club Captain, Mark will:
✅ Be a voice for the players
✅ Help build strong connections across all teams
✅ Support the values that make SRFC so special, Teamwork, Respect, Enjoyment, Discipline and Sportsmanship

Whether it’s on the pitch, in the pavilion, or cheering from the sidelines, Mark will be working closely with players, coaches and the committee to keep the club moving forward.

A slight change of plan in the fixtures calendar means we will now play Kesteven at home next weekend.

What an exciting way to start our season of home fixtures against local friends (and rivals).

Last week some of the Juniors spent a week together camping in the Lake District, having loads of fun paddle boarding, lighting camp fires and playing man hunt. All great team building ahead of a busy season.
