R & L chose this striking colour combination of turquoise and royal blue alongside ivory carnations and roses for their wedding in April. The couple asked to include thistles, providing a Scottish element to their arrangements. The bridal bouquet, buttonholes and corsages were all finished in matching turquoise and royal blue satin ribbon and I created a top table spray and small glass bottle table decorations for their reception. Matching cake flowers were also provided to Lisa Nan's Nice Cakes for their wedding cake.

These beautiful deep red and burgundy shades were chosen by K & E for their winter wedding last year. Small berries and teasels provided added interest and white astilbe was used in the bridal bouquet as an alternative to green foliage, giving a wonderful wintery feel.

This nature-loving couple also chose to collect pine-cones, which I included throughout their arrangements. This was a lovely way of adding a real personal touch to their flowers and making them even more special, not just for their wedding day, but as lasting keepsakes.

These beautiful autumnal shades were chosen by E & M for their wedding last year in the stunning Lake District.

The combination of colours and flowers, complete with hessian and matching ribbon finish gave a wonderful, natural feel to this collection.

One of the many things I have learnt over this past year is to not keep waiting for the right moment to share photos of my work or worrying about finding the words to describe my creations.

So with that in mind, here are some photos of the wedding flowers I had the pleasure of creating for K & D for their wedding last year. They chose this beautiful combination of navy and ivory with a hint of peach and as well as bouquets and buttonholes, I also created flower girl accessories and a top table spray for them.
