MASS Sessions #400 | Ømen
Ømen is a French-Italian DJ and producer based in the UK and co-founder of the uncompromising London labels MASS, TRASHTEK , and RŪV . Known for his emotionally charged and physically relentless sets, Ømen operates at the intersection of raw techno, rave nostalgia, and industrial intensity. A true architect of dancefloor tension, his sound blends punishing kicks and distorted percussive textures with haunting melodies, trance-laced euphoria, and driving acid basslines.

As a resident at MASS, Ømen has cultivated a signature style that pulls from the darker edges of techno, Schranz, and early ’90s and 2000s rave, weaving in everything from ritualistic chants to metallic rhythms, cinematic atmospheres and walls of distrortion. His sets aren’t just performances; they’re journeys into the abyss — introspective, high-impact, and unapologetically visceral.

MASS welcomes with BONES & STONES, a feral collision of beauty, brutality and ritualistic intensity. Available as a free download on our SoundCloud! 🔥🚨

Driven by relentless bochka rhythms, wild percussion and fractured breakbeats, the track pushes forward with an aggressive barrel kick while haunting operatic vocals emerge from the chaos, bringing an otherworldly sense of beauty and vulnerability.

Drawing from pagan and shamanic traditions, tribal rhythms and the untamed forces of nature, VIKI WIKKA creates music that exists between the physical and spiritual — raw, hypnotic and deeply atmospheric.

Bones and Stones explores the tension between primal aggression and seductive femininity, where physical force meets something more transcendental. Fast, visceral and uncompromising, it is a ritual of rhythm and emotion — where beauty emerges through brutality, and intensity dissolves into surrender.

Release Day! 🔥🚨 Alesjo - Mixed Signals (Incl. Brune, Ømen,& unstimming Remixes) [MASSEP19]

MASS welcomes Italian producer Alesjo with Mixed Signals, a five-track Schranz release where raw energy meets something more introspective. Built around pounding kicks, distorted textures and relentless rhythmic pressure, the EP explores the space between aggression and emotion without ever losing its dancefloor focus. Across the original track and three remixes, Alesjo’s sound moves with intensity, tension and a darker emotional undercurrent.

Joining the release are Nuremberg’s unstimmig, bringing a distorted and melancholic edge; South German Schranz specialist Brune, drawing from the raw sound of the early 2000s; and MASS co-founder Ømen, whose remix combines relentless Schranz energy with driving rhythms, darker melodies and a distinctly introspective atmosphere. Three different interpretations, each pushing Mixed Signals into new territory while retaining its emotional core.

Mixed Signals is Schranz with feeling, raw enough for the peak-time floor, but with something beneath the surface. Alesjo’s latest release captures the pressure, movement and contradiction that make the harder side of techno so compelling.
