Just on a day out with my little one and passed another iconic london spot that’s actually still here ! Zoo Bar it used to be called now it seems it’s zoo club.

For me this place was all about garage city bobbi and Steve . US style house n garage all through the late 90s. Not sure when it stopped or how long it was running but know it was legendary.

Just round the corner was gas club! A spot I went to loads . A one night stand 🙌🏻❤️

West end used to be a hot spot for some of the best clubs let me know your memories ❤️👊🏼

Thanks to all of you for the lovely bday messages yesterday . ❤️ Just in Mexico enjoying important family time and the beginning of year reset with my most precious ones . So important to take these times out to refresh the creativity and spend special moments with the most important people in my life . 🥰

I’ll be back in February hitting the studio on day 1 and with two new releases incoming already finished and I’m just waiting on some exciting remixes from artists I respect and love which I can’t wait to hear .

Also look out for announcement towards end of the month . Some exciting plans for 2025 I can’t wait to share with everyone . Until then keep well stay happy and we all reconnect in a few weeks and keep the music flowing . Much love Alexis x ❤️❤️

I’m singing off from socials until end of January to spend quality time and focus solely on my little family ❤️

I think it’s very important to realise the importance of getting the work life balance right, especially when an intense passion like mine for music can engulf you and be all consuming at times.

Have a great new year everyone and will be back in February with tunes, music and party plans for next year. 🎵🎼🎹

RIP Alfredo.

Anyone involved in electronic music that doesn’t know this man should do. Alfredo and his music was the inspiration behind the first Balearic and Acid House club nights in London at the end of 1987 and beg of 1988. The parties that kick started the culture that is now global and that has become part of our national identity here in the UK.

If it wasn’t for you and your musical vision, millions of us may never have experienced club/ rave culture as we know it , and many of us would have not had the careers and lives in the scene and music we love .

Eternally grateful to the original foundation of the spirit of Acid House culture, an Argentinian in Ibiza . That culture has now transcended generations and is such a force for collective positivity that I doubt it will ever fade. He was the beginning of it all .

In my teens until mid 20s Saturday mornings were spent coming in from Raves . 😜

In my late 20s and 30s they were spent coming in from gigs.😎

Now in my 40s they’re spent mostly with this little one. ❤️

I am off to an all-day rave tomorrow though with some of my oldest friends. Can’t bloody wait 😝

Went to check out today , the venue for our huge Xmas rave ! I got so many memories in this place more than any other venue anywhere in the world. I grew up round the corner and me and my crew always partied here mid to late 90s our spot was right hand front by the speaker . Was an honour to be asked to do Creche here and I can’t wait to drop some of my favourite tunes from 2012 on this amazing sound system . Bring it on 🥰

Shocked and saddened - my first ever tape pack was at the edge 1993 and I’ve raved to him more than any other DJ in my years on the dance floor. Technically unmatched in the DNB circuit and able to take a floor from 91 to 97 in a couple of tunes seamlessly .

Randall you will be missed thanks for all the music , inspiration and vibes. RIP

Absolutely saddened to hear about the passing of Jason K.

He’s a huge part of my electronic music history, from the early days of the 90s as one half of Top Buzz to later in the 90s with his Garage imprint Social Circles.

I think both ‘Living In Darkness’ and ‘The Message’ (which I named one of my own tracks after in 2012 and saw the first ever play of it performed live at colosseum uk in 1998 when it got rewound 3 times! ) from 1992 and 1997 respectively are in my top ten tracks from Hardcore and the UK House n Garage scene .

I spent many a night on the dance floor raving to his sets bdck in the day….

A fellow North Londoner and Greek Cypriot deeply involved in electronic music, he’s one of the people I looked up to. 🇨🇾

Rest In peace and thanks for the music. ❤️❤️
