Meet the new boss!
Welcome to the world - and to your new home, Mr Aren Hugo Rosen.
My beautiful wife and I, together with our little princess, Adeline-Rose, are overjoyed to introduce the newest member of our family.
Ari demonstrated his strong character before day one. He appeared determined to remain with Mummy until at least his first day of school, but after eight extra days, the doctors interrupted his plans and arranged his departure from the mothership.
He is now firmly in charge. He decides who sleeps, who stays awake, who works - and whether anyone is permitted to have plans of their own.
It has been the craziest and most extraordinary week of my life: a new house, a military-style move with a heavily pregnant and overdue wife, daily visits to three hospitals in search of an available room and medical team, and a super short-notice £10,000 Saudi client with many requests. I was driving constantly, permanently attached to my phone, extremely stressed - and unbelievably happy.
And then came the icing on the cake: the arrival of our beautiful boy.
Just five minutes before the doctors were ready to take Mummy into the surgery theatre, Aren made a last-minute attempt to change the plan. A natural negotiator already. What a tease!
Throughout this journey, we have truly discovered the strength of our friendships and family relationships - and how fortunate we are to have so many wonderful people around us.
My heart is full of gratitude, love and happiness. Blessings are raining down in abundance, and we are ready to welcome them—and face every challenge—together.
