We Are Beams are incredibly proud of our 2026 London to Brighton Riders – together they raised over £6,400 and a ton of awareness to support our work with disabled children and their families in Kent. Our riders demonstrated incredible camaraderie on the day, encouraging and supporting eachother throughout the ride – it truly is an event for any and every level of skill.

The money raised will help fund our vital services, supporting disabled children and their families when they need us most. Every mile, every donation, and every ‘share’ of the fundraising pages has helped to make a difference. Thank you all so much for taking on this amazing challenge, you have been an inspiration and we are grateful to everyone involved. 💜

“I found my skydive to be the most exhilarating experience I have ever taken part in. The adrenaline once hanging out of the plane ready to jump was overwhelming and the views were beautiful. The freefall was terrifying at the same time as strangely peaceful.”

"I had the absolute BEST time skydiving on Sunday! The adrenaline was off the scale, but the whole experience - from registration, through to the dive and afterwards - was so well organised and amazing from start to finish.

I was lucky enough to have an incredible instructor, Jack, who talked me through everything the whole way. Surprisingly, I wasn’t nervous at all - I was far more excited than anything else and couldn’t wait to get up in the air!

I took on the skydive to raise money for Great Ormond Street Children’s Hospital (GOSH). After spending the last few years climbing mountains for charity, I wanted to try something completely different and challenge myself outside my comfort zone.

In my head, jumping out of a perfectly good aeroplane sounded easier than walking up a mountain for hours! 😂

I’ve always wanted to skydive, but nothing could have prepared me for just how incredible it would actually be. The views were unbelievable (including a great view of Silverstone!), the adrenaline was insane, and the sense of achievement afterwards was something else.

It’s genuinely one of the best things I’ve ever done, and I would do it again in a heartbeat! ❤️

If you’ve ever thought about skydiving but haven’t taken the leap yet… DO IT! You won’t regret it. 🪂🙌

2026 was Fellowship Afloat's (FACT) third year doing L2B and our wonderful team of 25 cyclists have raised more than £20,000 this year alone! 👏

There is always a great atmosphere and the support team is brilliant. More than that, it's the sense of community and fun, it gives our staff team time to catch up with FACT friends during the cycle and at the finish line. 💙

🚲 36 brilliant riders took on the 55-mile London to Brighton Bike Ride for Purple Elephant, and together they’ve already raised an incredible £47,200! 🚲

With more still coming in through donations and matched funding, £50,000 is in sight! This fundraising will make a huge difference to our charity and help us reach more children and young people who really need us.

A huge thank you to Skyline Events for organising the ride and looking after our Herd from the planning stage right through to the finish line in Brighton. It was so well organised, and we were so proud to see so many Purple Elephant jerseys out on the course. The whole day was a brilliant celebration of partnership and what can happen when people come together for something they believe in.

Thank you to every single person who took part, fundraised, donated or cheered us on, and a very special thank you to Skyline Events for making it happen. 💜

Team George’s made history this year at the London to Brighton Cycle Ride, raising an incredible £29,527.51 and counting for St George’s Hospital Charity.
17 cyclists took on the challenge, each with their own personal reason for riding, united by one goal… supporting patients, families and staff at St George’s Hospital. Even the Endoscopy team swapped their scrubs for the saddle. 🚲

The funds raised will help us fund projects of every scale that support our NHS and the health of our community. From small grants that meet unmet needs within our hospital to substantial investments in major projects with national and international reach.

To everyone who rode, donated, and cheered from the sidelines, thank you. Your support impacts the one million patients who access Trust services every year and supports more than 9,500 hardworking NHS staff who care for them. 💜
