We are delighted to welcome, Mark Rogers, Head of Net Zero Carbon, Cost Management at Turner & Townsend, as a distinguished speaker at the third annual London PropTech Show.

Mark is the UK Head of Net Zero Carbon, Cost Management, and has been part of the team developing Turner & Townsend Cost Management Net Zero Carbon proposition, which included the launch of the industry leading Embodied Carbon Calculator in 2022. Mark is committed to helping drive and deliver the change in the real estate industry to account for the two currencies of construction, cost and carbon, and is passionate about driving improvements into the design of projects to achieve lower carbon outcomes for clients. Mark was involved in the launch of the new RICS Whole of Life Carbon Assessment Professional Standard, speaking at the launch event in September 2023 and taking part in the consultation phase of the publication. He was also a panelist on the RICS WBEF webinar on Carbon accounting: Steps for successful implementation.

Real estate is evolving fast and PropTech is leading the way. From digital signatures becoming the new normal to smart homes and iBuyers changing how we buy and sell, the future is already here.

Platforms like DocuSign are making paperwork a breeze, while tools like RealPage, Inc. and ManageCasa Property Management Software are helping landlords run things smoother than ever. Want to invest without breaking the bank? Fundrise, Groundfloor, and RealtyMogul are making it possible with fractional real estate investing.

Hyper-local ads are also getting smarter thanks to audience town and Nextdoor, and smart home tech from ecobee and SmartRent is quickly becoming the standard. Plus, iBuyers like Opendoor, Redfin, and Zillow are making home sales faster and more data-driven.

Which of these trends do you think will have the biggest impact by 2028?
