Introduction to Collograph with Card & Carborundum

Join us for a 2-day beginner-friendly workshop where you’ll create multiple plates and experiment with textures, shapes, and compositions. 🎨

At Ebor Studio, we’ll print the intaglio way using an etching press — but you’ll also discover how collographs can be printed in relief, opening up endless creative possibilities.

🌟 No experience needed — work abstractly, from your own source material, or use what’s provided.
📅 Please note: the workshop runs across two non-consecutive days (make sure to book both!).

Ready to explore printmaking in a supportive, hands-on environment?

On Saturday I’ll be performing Magpahi songs and also a live version of Enmesh The Soil And Life Continues. All to celebrate the opening of exhibiting this installation at The Co-op Pioneers Museum on Toad Lane in Rochdale.

The artwork features a large scale digital print with accompanying sound composition. Working with artists Anna FC Smith and Helen Claire Mather and members of the community we jointly explored a collective experience of working with wax cap mushrooms on ancient grasslands.

A group walked with fungi expert Steve Hindle from National Trust to identify species and discuss the ecological importance of fungi, their unique habitats and physical forms.
These activities directly informed responses in sound and printed media to inspire the final visual and sonic artworks.

Fungi are inherently co-operative organisms forming vast underground networks that connect and nourish plants, recycle nutrients and sustain eco systems.

We would like to welcome .lee23 to our artist community! ✨

Cat’s evocative mixed media art draws inspiration from the natural world and the power of storytelling, weaving together layers of texture, depth, and atmosphere. From intricate collages to expressive paintings, her work explores the connection between internal and external landscapes. We’re so excited to have her on board—welcome, Cat! 🎨💫
