Every Halloween, Simon, one of our lovely High Roding villagers, spends countless hours of his own time creating the most spectacular Halloween displays at his home. His imagination and creativity are incredible, and families travel from far and wide to see what he’s come up with each year! 🧡

But this year, Simon is bringing his Halloween magic to Roding Hall! 🎃

We caught a little footage today of him hard at work creating his spooky maze, and this is just a tiny sneak peek of what’s in store! 👀🕸️

Alongside Simon’s amazing creations, there’ll be plenty of games and attractions for the children to enjoy, plus delicious food and drinks available throughout the event!

🍂🤎 A Gorgeous Autumn Baby Shower at The Grazing Station 🤎🍂

What a beautiful afternoon celebrating Rosie and her little bundle of joy 🧸🤍

Our vintage mix-and-match china was the perfect setting for a lovely afternoon tea, complete with freshly made sandwiches, homemade scones and a delicious selection of cakes 🫖🍰

We absolutely fell in love with the gorgeous autumn theme… and how stunning was the cake?! 😍🎂

It was so lovely watching the girls bring all their beautiful ideas together to create such a special celebration for the mum-to-be. Every little detail was just gorgeous 🍁🤎

Three nights of Halloween fun are coming to Roding Hall!

📅 Thursday 29th – Saturday 31st October 2026

We’re transforming Roding Hall for Halloween with three completely different evenings of family entertainment, plus games, attractions, food, drinks and plenty of Halloween fun!

🎟️ FREE ENTRY TO RODING HALL FROM 4PM
🕓 Gates open from 4pm each day
🎃 Attractions & games run from 4pm until the main events begin
🪙 Tokens for attractions & games will be available to purchase on the night
🎟️ Evening main events are separately ticketed

We’re kicking off the Extravaganza with a family Halloween movie night showing CASPER! 👻

💀🎻 FRIDAY 30TH – THE HAUNTED BARN DANCE

Morris Dancing • Ceilidh • Barn Dance

A proper family barn dance with live entertainment, music and plenty of dancing!

🎻 From 7pm – dance performances from The Chelmsford Morris and friends
🎶 From 8pm – a very special Family Ceilidh-Barn Dance with live music from The Spring Heeled Jacks

Both plated up with our homemade coleslaw, Piper’s crisps and a fresh salad garnish 🌿
