♡ FIRST WEDDING OF THE YEAR 2025 ♡

What a wonderful way to kick start the wedding season - blue skies, sunshine and birdsong!

My thanks goes to Julie and her amazing staff at the Emlyn Hotel , who were so attentive from start to finish. They had everything covered......even with the last minute change of ceremony location to be held out in the gardens right by the love knot .

I was truely in my element surrounded by spring flowers , in the sunshine right next to the .

We enjoyed some traditional parts of a wedding ceremony, but my favourite part was the family as the bride and groom included their two young children, when .

My love and best wishes go out to our new couple !

Home now from performing and celebrating the life of Liz Duke on Monday 15.04.24.

A tough one for me, but it was her final wishes for her ashes to be scattered in her favourite bluebell glade with the River Dane flowing in the background.

Come tornado winds, thunder, lightning, hailstones and sunshine, we braved the weather for her and celebrated in true style with stories, poems and of course the subtle yet obligatory Tory bashing !!!!

The origional ' Elizabeth Duke'. You are at peace now and free from pain. Enjoy the scent of the bluebells every spring as you come back among them again !

♡ RENEWAL OF VOWS ♡

I too had the honour of working up a super script for this beautiful couple and their family, celebrating their 15 years of marriage together.

A day full of emotions at The Cliff Hotel & Spa , the place D +G married 15 years prior on the same date! We enjoyed readings from daughters, a heartfelt hand - fasting and I even spotted a dolphin in the background.

Thank you to Mumford Photography for capturing the day perfectly!

♡ COCKTAIL CEREMONY WEDDING ♡

S+A were hooked when I suggested a cocktail ceremony to signify parts of their lives into their marriage ceremony earlier in the year. It was a sweet and spicy that sealed the deal.

Although the weather didn't allow us for the outside ceremony we had hoped, over looking the sea at , it still didn't stop us having fun inside The Shed at Mwnt! The pet dogs lead our beautiful bride down the aisle and the odd inflatable dolphins made a debut when we spoke about the engagement in their love story.

A super day, congratulations team Tuck x

♡ SAND CEREMONY WEDDING ♡

Like so many other couples, in the beginning K+ M were a little hesitant at first when we started to discuss including a symbolic ritual as part of their wedding script!

After different examples and ideas of how a personalised ritual could enrich their ceremony - these two beach lovers were hooked.

A family sand ceremony with glitter and sparkles bought the truly bespoke ceremony to life and was a great way to include their two little girls.

The Medieval Church at Fron Farm Yurts was full of sunshine, and the energy was uplifting!

Heartfelt congratulations to a beautiful couple !

♡ FAMILY WEDDING WEEKEND ♡
Last weekend I had the pleasure of being a at my sisters wedding at Nurstead Court The sun shone for us, the room was full of beaming smiles and we were surrounded by the warmth and love of family members we hadn't seen in years.
I was honoured to be asked to read a small poem at Stacey Mcgregor and Chris Dale wedding, which I read on behalf of their two lovely boys Ollie and Jack.

MF wedding photography you worked so hard and captured the day terrifically. Folks, just after this point in the ceremony Lionel Richie kicked in, and what followed was a mini flash mob by the Mac Pac as Mr & Mrs danced their way up the isle to 'you are my destiny' and we boogied up after them !

So much love and effort went into making their day so special, everyone and everything was catered for. Thank you to all the lovely people on the day.

♡ CEREMONY PREP & NERVES ♡

It's not only the couples that get nervous before the big day ....I do too ! I view these nerves as a GOOD emotion and I channel them into delivering a happy and heartfelt celebration for the couple and their friends and family.

I'm lucky to be working with Helen Williams as an associate celebrant for Treasured Ceremonies. After several postponements , here's a sneak peak at my prep for this weekends wedding & baby naming ceremony at the lovely Gellifawr Woodland Retreat.

♡ 'NATURAL' BABY NAMING CEREMONIES ♡

It was such an honour to formally welcome baby ' Efa Nairi Aida Barrett' to the world, with her family by her side.

A wonderfully relaxed ceremony set in the little chapel, at The Cawdor, Llandeilo .

Surrounded by beautiful flowers, the celebration was steeped in nature from start to finish . It was a joy to introduce two super guide parents, who will be there for her in years to come.

Family members were invited to bring a symbolic stone with them on the day. This played a vital role, as each of those were blessed in spring water. The next day the sun came out as everyone who could, took the stones up to a favourite hill top at Garn Goch to build a 'guiding' Cairn for Efa to return to and add to in the future.

This family really made it their own and I was delighted to 'hold the space' and conduct the day for them.

It was so wonderful to talk all things sustainable and green ceremonies with the lovely Sarah Wickham, another fellow celebrant here in West Wales.

It is TRUE - there is such a lightbulb moment when you meet 'your kind of people' , 'your tribe ' !

Sarah Wickham from Heart of Pembrokeshire Ceremonies, is not only a fabulous and kind hearted wedding celebrant, but she is someone who will help families say good bye to loved ones in a beautiful and funeral / end of life ceremony in a tranquil meadow just outside .

What a lovely catch up and coffee I had yesterday with the amazing Jodie from Ceremonies with Jodie. I even got shown a new secret walk-in Haverfordwest by the river which I never knew existed which is fantastic! Luna🐶 loved it too ☕🌿🦆

It is great having like-minded people who are so passionate about what they do nearby. She is such a sunny and bubbly wedding celebrant. ♡ THE FORCE WAS STRONG ♡

There was no dark side to this wedding for G & W and their two gorgeous children during Wednesdays Elopement.

The five of us had so much fun from start to finish !

There was :
- Jedi Robes & Light Sabers,
- David Bowie music down the aisles
- Lots of Star War quotes
- Three exchanges of rings (Son wanted a ring too),
- Personalised Hand-fasting ritual - got a little tricky when Dad was left holding the baby , but we managed it as son helped to 'tie the knot'
- Darth Vader Pinata
- Glitter & Confetti
.... and of course laughter, tears and a SUPER baby fart in the middle of it all !

!
