I’m still a little sad that not everyone got the chance to have their perfect birthday cake last year. So I’m just putting the crumbs out there… If you get in touch, I might be able to take on some special orders again.

Another reminder, I know it looks a bit messy, but everything here is free—definitely worth a rummage! The shutter will be open for a little while from around 12 midday tomorrow, so feel free to pop by and have a look.

Slight change of plan!
I’ll be at the unit tomorrow from 11am–12pm if anyone wants to pop by for a rummage.

Trying to clear out the last bits and pieces from the unit — there’s a mix of kitchenware, odds and ends, and maybe a few hidden gems. Come say hi and grab something useful!

A huge thank you to Milford Youth Centre for having me – it was such a joy to share my pizza knowledge and nerd out about dough again! 🍕💛

Turns out, I really can’t go too long without making pizza. Being back in that hands-on, creative space reminded me just how much I love it.

The highlight? Seeing the full rainbow of toppings chosen by the young pizza-makers – from sweetcorn to pineapple, and even a cheeky little stuffed crust! Their creativity was genuinely inspiring, and I hope I was able to spark a little inspiration in return.

If the opportunity comes up again, I’d absolutely love to do more pizza workshops. There’s something really special about sharing food skills and watching people make something they’re proud of.

Free Items – Come Have a Browse!

Just a little heads-up that I’ll be at the unit every Tuesday from 11am–12pm if anyone would like to pop in and have a look through the free items.

After trying to figure out how to accommodate different people’s times and days, I realised it wouldn’t be feasible. I’m really sorry I can’t offer specific slots for individuals, as I’m now working full time — but this Tuesday window will be the regular time each week until the unit is clear

I’m still in the process of winding things down and have lots of bits and pieces looking for a new home. Everything is free apart from the coffee, kettle, grinder — and the coffee machine, which is available to buy.

Also a very large fridge needs to go!

Brownies and cookies are officially on leave for the foreseeable. I saved the last few boxes for a visit to Milford Youth Centre next week.

I actually didn’t know much about the youth centres around here until Sean—who works at the Canolfan Ieuenctid Aberdaugleddau / Milford Haven Youth Centre—stopped by the shop one day. Just from chatting I learned a bit about what they do. It stuck with me. Not long after, I went along to the Christmas fair at the Haverfordwest branch and was blown away by the creativity and effort from the kids.

When I launched my first pizza night, Sean happened to be one of the first through the door. After that, what had been a passing idea—maybe doing a pizza workshop one day—started to feel like something that could actually happen.

Of course, I didn’t realise then that I’d be closing the shop. But even with that change, I’m still fully committed to the craft (and chaos) of pizza making—and I’m really excited to be running a pizza night at the Milford Youth Centre next Wednesday.

Like I’ve said (and will keep saying): the end of the shop isn’t the end for me. If anything, this feels like a new start. There’s nothing better than sharing what I know and hopefully sparking a bit of curiosity in the next generation. Fingers crossed it’s the first of many.
