Halloween flash day with these beauts tomorrow!

🎃👻 It’s our Halloween Flash Day a week today (Saturday 31st)! 👻🎃

Most of our artists will be available all day from 10am–5pm for walk-ins, and Amy still has some afternoon availability if you’d prefer to book and secure a time slot. 💀

All designs are just £40! 🧙🏻‍♀️

To give you an idea of sizing, imagine each of these flash sheets printed on an A4 piece of paper. That’s roughly how big the designs will be when tattooed! 🧟‍♂️

Good morning world!
Wow, what a hectic week it’s been, so just thought I would check in 😅

From pumpkin picking to a huge balloon build 🎈this week really has had it all!!

We had such a good time at Halloweenville on Tuesday, a cute little video to follow shortly to show what we did there. 👻
Kaitlyn spent her actual birthday being wheeled around The Trafford Centre, I wasn’t wearing my watch but I’m sure the step count well exceeded 20,000. 🤣
Thursday was a complete write off spending 6 hours emailing and calling to sort out the s**t show of Wynny’s support. 🤯
And yesterday I dusted the cobwebs off and blew up ‘a few’ balloons for Balloon Summer Splash Halloween event with my balloon bestie Meredith’s Magical Moments.🖤 I met some lovely new faces and hugged some balloon pals I had not seen in a while 🤙🏻
Now today we are going to try to go to a restaurant as a family for a birthday meal for our Keeks, something which we haven’t attempted since she was in a high chair!
Hoping to be surprised and we don’t spend the whole time running around after her, wish us luck! 🍀

I try. And I try. And then I try some more.

I pick myself up, dust myself off, find something to smile about and convince myself that surely, at some point, life has to get a little kinder to us.

But every time I even dare to suggest things might be looking up, the universe comes flying in with a great big NOPE 👎 NOT TODAY!

I’m naturally such a positive person. Glass is half full! I love life, making memories, having things to look forward to and finding happiness in the smallest of moments.

But bloody hell, I’m drained.

Today school transport failed us. Today respite care was withdrawn. Today my concerns weren’t adequately addressed and I was left feeling completely invalidated.

And it’s the accumulation of EVERYTHING. The constant fighting, chasing, explaining and advocating for support that should already be in place. Being an advocate sucks the life out of you.

I want SO much more out of life for my family. I have dreams, ambitions and aspirations. I want Wynny to experience independence, I want us to be healthy, have careers, adventures and time to simply enjoy being a family.

I love being a mum, but I’m a human being too, with a life I’d quite like the opportunity to live.

I can make lemonade out of lemons, but I’m being hammered with the whole lemon tree 🍋😭

Even the most positive people get tired of having to be resilient all the time. ❤️I’m that person 😭

We are destined for no life, no freedoms outside of parenting, no future aspirations, WE ARE STUCK

It’s actually laughable at this point how much s**t can go wrong all at once, it’s a wonder we aren’t just used to it by now.

Yesterday school transport failed us.
Turned up with a completely different CAR, Driver and a not so encouraging PA.
Wynny fell to pieces - we ended up having to take her to school.

Today - Wynny refused to go on the school bus. It’s officially ruined ….

And then now, wait for it….

RESPITE have just emailed cancelling any future care for Wynny.

Why aren’t these decisions being made with care and consideration for Wynny’s needs? Which are clearly outlined in any of her care plans?
She needs encouragement, familiarity and CONSISTENCY.

At this point I’m ready to just run off! I’m so tired of FIGHTING for everything we so desperately need!

We want Wynny to have some independent time just like other children do. We want to go to work, we want to have time to be a couple, we want to have a breath in peace, we want to have a smidge of time to ourselves without being Mum and Dad. I’m so over it!!!!! 😡
It was dangled in front of us, given to us and now it’s been stripped away
AGAIN!
I’m so mad 😭😭😭😭

Such a fun time at Halloweenville tonight!🎃

What a wonderfully inclusive experience for every single one of us,

Wynny was happy, free to explore and completely in her element. She even stopped to listen to some of the stories, which was so lovely to see🥹

Wonderfully sensory with all the magical lights, and fabulously entertaining with the brilliant characters throughout! 🕷️✨

We’ve made some beautiful memories tonight, the kind we’ll treasure for a lifetime. Those moments mean the absolute world to our family🖤

We’re slowly but surely finding our feet with Wynny in public settings. Experiences that once felt quite overwhelming are beginning to feel that little bit lighter and a little more manageable. Which in turn makes them a whole lot more enjoyable for all of us.

And that feels like something worth celebrating 💀🖤

Then Halloweenville 👻

Not too sure how that’s going to go seen as though Wynny has been up since 2:55am but let’s see ay 😅🤙🏻

A little bit of me time today 🎃 whilst we had a smidge 🤏🏼 more time, I dug out my decs, my florals, grabbed a couple of straw bales and got to work!

What do you think of my vampy harvest Halloween display?

I never actually thought of getting my Costco lampposts out in autumn! They were strictly a winter piece, but I think they totally work 😍
It felt nice to be tinkering with florals again after so long out the game ❤️ a little reminder to myself of how much I love it 🥰
And now our pumpkins from Bednall Pumpkins finally have the display they deserve! We will get carving them one by one and adding more lights as we go 🎃
I rekon this can stay up until the Christmas garlands make an appearance 🖤✨

Some people choose rest, I choose getting creative.
Am I extra? Yes, have I always been? Yes, will I ever change, nope 👎

Good morning everyone ✨

A very exciting new chapter for our Wynny today! 🥹❤️

Today is her very first day travelling to school on a little school bus! 🚌

We’ve spent the last couple of days preparing her for this big change, and now the day is finally here! Whether she actually gets on the bus is another story entirely. 😂🤞🏼

For us as a family, this is HUGE. It means saying goodbye to over 120 miles of driving and 4+ hours in the car every single day, 5 days a week! 😅

But more importantly, we’re hoping this will be another little step towards independence for Wynny. A new routine, a new experience and another opportunity for her to grow in confidence. ❤️

So wish our little star luck! 🍀
