Feedback Friday (even though it’s Thursday) is a little different today…

Here’s my little wall of thanks. It sits right above my desk in my office and every time I look up, it reminds me of how lucky I am to do the job I do and also how appreciated I am by my couples. There’s nothing more rewarding than opening my mail and finding a beautiful thank you card from a couple whose wedding I had the honour of planning, styling and/or coordinating 💌

So much love, effort, hard work and detail goes into every wedding and hearing that it truly meant something to the bride and groom makes it all worthwhile. The bonds we form throughout the planning journey are so important to me and I love that I am still in touch with so many of my couples 💕

Thank you to all the wonderful people who have trusted in me over the years for such an important day in their lives - your kind words and positive feedback mean the world to me 🫶🏼

It’s Feedback Friday again 👋🏼

This wedding was such a special one for me. I absolutely adore Kirsty & Miles, from the second I met them I thought they were so incredibly special and I could instantly tell they were meant to be together. Whilst they wanted a magical day and all the lovely little touches that come with that, the overriding factor that shone through was their love for each other and the importance of getting married surrounded by their loved ones. Every time we met, I was struck by how much they laughed together and how, as well as being in love with each other, they were also the best of friends 💕

I provided full planning, on the day coordination and decor hire and styling services for this beautiful wedding at Coos’ Cathedral. Kirsty & Miles put all their trust in me to support in sourcing suppliers and delivering a high level of service. Due to personal reasons, their wedding was postponed and thankfully we managed to hold on to most the suppliers from the original set date. By the time their wedding arrived, they had welcomed gorgeous little Freddie into their lives and combined their own wedding ceremony with a naming ceremony for him, conducted by the lovely Kirstin Cruickshank IHC Humanist Celebrant 👶🏼

There were so many amazing suppliers involved in this wedding including .photographer who travelled from the south of England to be there and as well as being a phenomenal photographer, was such a joy to have around on the day and slotted right in with the NE of Scotland contingency. The sun shone, the energy was amazing and the day was filled with laughter and fun. I was so sad when it was all over but delighted to have met up for coffee dates with Kirsty & Miles since and even coordinated one of their friends weddings up in the highlands after being recommended by them both. It was so lovely to see them as guests at that wedding too 😊

Here’s a little throwback to this royal wedding inspired styled photoshoot at Fyvie Castle, Garden & Estate NTS - I decided on cute alternative styling for our dusty blue napkins, which teamed perfectly with our gorgeous gold leaf charger plates and gold cutlery. It was such a fun, beautifully hot day in April with such an amazing bunch of suppliers - I do not miss those stairs though! 🩵👑 🎀 ✨🏰

I was absolutely delighted and honoured to learn two weeks ago that I had made it to the final for a 6th consecutive year at the Top Tier Awards - thank you so, so much to whoever voted for me, it really means the world that you take the time to vote for your top three wedding suppliers. Aside from it being such an honour to make it to the final, I am absolutely buzzing for the night that lies ahead with all my supplier besties - let’s just say, this is the one time we truly let our hair down and make up for all those lost weekends where we can’t get out to party. Pray for us (not for winning, just for surviving to tell the tale the next day 😆)

It’s Feedback Friday peeps! Almost the weekend! 🥳

Today’s amazing review is from a wonderful wedding I coordinated last year at House Of Elrick for the lovely Carron & Colin. Colin was a few years above me at school and from my first meeting with him and Carron, I knew that this was going to be some wedding and I wasn’t wrong! Carron was the epitome of an organised bride, she was on top of everything throughout the planning process which meant she was THE most relaxed bride on the day and you could see her happiness bursting from every pore from start to finish on the day.

Carron & Colin’s ethos was to ensure the day was full of fun from the get go with lots of music, good food and drinks flowing and wow was it a party! They really had thought of everything with so many lovely personal touches (the audio clip from Carron and their two lovely wee boys before she walked down the aisle was just 🥹)

With music from Paul Black, The Big Papas, Singers Secreto and Rich Gordon - Bagpipes, Saxophone and Guitar the party vibes didn’t stop all day! I loved being a part of this wedding and catching up with some familiar faces too, I even got accosted onto the dancefloor by the best man and for The Gay Gordon’s with Carron (photographic evidence included) - so much fun!

Thank you Carron Thomson and Colin for being an absolute dream, you’re both truly made for each other 💕🫶🏼

Wow! What a weekend! Finally feeling human again after a busy but fantastic 3 days at Your Wedding Exhibition 🩷🧡

Thank you so very much to everyone that came and visited my stand, it was an absolute delight to meet you all and I hope everyone had a great time and got lots of wonderful inspiration from all the fantastic exhibitors. It was amazing to catch up with all my lovely supplier friends and a special thanks has to go to my fabulous helpers Kirstin, Tanya, Elaine, Diane, Clair and my superstar husband, Scott, for all his help with my stand build. Also thank you to Cymbeline Events’ great friends The Schivas Steading for the loan of the table and chairs and Love Paper Co. for the beautiful table menus 🫶🏼

It was my 7th year exhibiting at Your Wedding Exhibition and to come back after missing out last year due to ill health and win Best Stand was just the icing on the cake. I was completely shocked but equally delighted, especially as there were so many beautiful stands this year. We are all winners as everyone puts in an equal amount of time and graft into the planning and build 😊

2026 is shaping up to be a fantastic year as we are delighted and honoured to also make it to the Top Tier Awards final for a 6th consecutive year - thank you to everyone who voted for us, it is so greatly appreciated 💕

It’s that time again - Feedback Friday! And here is a little throwback to a lovely review from Lori and Andrew who married at the beautiful 💕

Lori was the sweetest girl to work with throughout the planning process - nothing was ever a stress and she had a clear vision of what she wanted for her special day but also put a lot of faith and trust in me and allowed me to make a lot of creative decisions myself. I loved the personal touches that gave a nod to their hometown - these personal details are so important and help shape a wedding and seperate your special day from the next. Lori’s mum also created the most stunning floral arch - I really love when talented family members can contribute to a wedding day, it makes it so special. Lori and Andrew really wanted to get married outside but, as always, I ensured we had a contingency plan as….well…this is Scotland after all! Unfortunately, the weather didn’t play ball, we held on until the final hour but ended setting up the ceremony inside - and the final result was stunning! The team at are fabulous and it is always a pleasure to work with them. When Lori arrived in her dress my jaw literally hit the floor - it was like something out of a fairytale - stunning! ✨
