VENUE SECRETS - VIRGIN HOTEL EDINBURGH

Next up in our 'Venue Secrets' series is the stunning Virgin Hotel. Please keep reading for a sneaky insider look at this amazing venue...

Celebrity hotel guests: Virgin is located in the beautiful old town which is not a stranger to film crews and we have been lucky to host many crew and stars to such tv/movies such as Dept Q and Frankenstein.

Dog Friendly: At our weddings, some of the most heart-warming and memorable moments come courtesy of your furry friends. For many couples, dogs are much more than pets - they’re family. And, including them in your wedding day not only makes the celebration feel even more personal but also adds a unique and joyful element to the occasion too.

History: Part of the hotel is the old India Buildings which were constructed in the Scots Baronial style and feature a distinctive bartizan (small turret). We have a hidden unicorn mural in this turret and look out for future elopements in this location…

Archaeological finds: The archaeological work at the site is described as one of the most significant urban excavations ever undertaken in Scotland, revealing layers of history from the 10th century to the 19th century.
