I genuinely can’t believe you’ll be 18 in December 🥹🌸
Ava-Ray has worked with me since she was just 13, starting out as our Saturday girl… although truth be told, she was probably overqualified even then. 😂
This girl had her own little business at THREE and spent years helping her mum before we were lucky enough to have her join us. Flowers, creativity and hard work have always been in her.
But watching her progression, particularly over these last two years, has been something really special.
Saturday Girl → Event Assistant → Junior Florist → now creating the most stunning bouquets and full floral plinth arrangements completely in her own style.
Every time I turn around she’s learned something new, taken on more responsibility or quietly created something that makes me stop and think, when did you learn to do THAT?!
And that’s the best part — she’s not just learning floristry anymore. She’s developing her own eye, her own confidence and her own style. 🌸
We only officially get to keep her full-time for her gap year before university 😭 but I’m already praying that weekend weddings between studying will still be her favourite way to spend a Saturday.
Ava-Ray, we are SO proud of the florist and young woman you’re becoming.
