✨ BE HONEST… WHAT’S YOUR FAVOURITE PART? ✨
When I first walked into Kirknewton Stables with my brother Andrew and Rachel, I genuinely thought:

“How the hell am I turning this into a wedding venue?” 😳😂

The vision was there… somewhere… but seeing it all come together yesterday absolutely blew me away.

The arch beneath the trees, the hydrangeas lining the aisle, the masses of white blooms, the reception room dressed and ready for the celebrations… it was everything we had hoped for and more. 🤍🌿

As florists, we often see weddings in buckets, flower boxes, delivery vans, and endless to-do lists. We spend weeks stressing over every little detail. Then suddenly, everything is in place, the guests arrive, and the magic happens.

These are only a few quick photos I managed to take before the day got underway, but I couldn’t wait to share them.

Most importantly, congratulations to my brother Andrew and his beautiful new wife Rachel. ❤️

Today’s the day… my brother gets married to his beutiful fiancé 🎉🥂

Honestly, I’ve got absolutely no idea how I’m supposed to get all these flowers finished, get out to Kirknewton Stables to set everything up, somehow squeeze myself into a dress, make myself look remotely presentable, and then actually sit and watch my brother get married.

At this point, I’m running purely on caffeine, stress, and sheer determination. 😂

The wedding flowers are done, the panic levels are high, and I feel like I should be getting wheeled straight into the nearest A&E because I am absolutely exhausted.

BUT… we’re still open today from 8am until 4pm for collections only! 💐

The shop is absolutely packed with fresh flowers, beautiful bouquets, plants, gifts and all the usual floral goodness. Evie and Dixie will be in the shop looking after you all, so you’re in safe hands! 🌸

If you need a last-minute bouquet, a wee gift, or just fancy popping in to say hello, we’d love to see you.

Right, I’m off to attempt the impossible: florist, wedding supplier, taxi driver, event coordinator, and wedding guest all in one day. What could possibly go wrong? 🤦‍♀️🤣

We’ve been a bit quieter than usual for the last couple of days… and for once it’s not because we’ve been hiding under a mountain of flowers. 🌸😂

Tomorrow is my brother Andrew and future sister-in-law Rachel’s wedding, so you can imagine the chaos levels have been through the roof. Between running the shop, sorting wedding flowers, chasing last-minute bits and generally trying to keep my sanity intact, I am absolutely BLOODY EXHAUSTED.

But honestly… what a team I have. Every single one of them has gone above and beyond coming in early, working late, working through days off, and putting in the extra graft to make sure tomorrow is absolutely perfect. I honestly appreciate them more than they’ll ever know. 💗

So I might actually get pictures of this wedding tomorrow… miracles do happen! 😂

Scotland kick off at 11pm tonight, so I’ll be attempting to stay awake with matchsticks holding my eyelids open. Will I make it? Highly debatable. 🤣

Wish us luck for tomorrow, wish Scotland luck tonight, and if anyone has a spare bucket of caffeine, send it my way. ☕🏴

Right lads (and ladies 👀), football season is here.

Which means…

📺 The telly will be permanently occupied.
🍺 “I’m only going for one pint” will somehow turn into six hours.
⚽ Every conversation will start with, “Did you see that goal?”
🤦‍♀️ And your partner will slowly start questioning their life choices.

So before you disappear into a fan zone, beer garden or in front of the TV for the next month…

Might I suggest a peace offering?

Flowers.

Because let’s be honest…

🌸 A bouquet costs less than an argument.
🌸 A bouquet is cheaper than sleeping on the couch.
🌸 A bouquet takes less effort than pretending you remembered what she was talking about while you were secretly checking the score.
