Christmas 2025 at The Merchant Hotel ⭐

The Merchant are known to experiment with fun and exciting themes and this year was no different.

This years theme is Mischievous Monkeys. Dressed in golden party hats, with red and gold extravagant ruffs.

Accompanied by luxury reds and beautiful golds with a hint of black and pearl. It really does look amazing! Thank you for letting us and the wee monkeys loose on your 5 star hotel!! 🐵

After Christmas, we are looking for new homes for our Merchant Monkeys.
We have two breeds available- Capuchins and Baboons- each comes with a handmade hat and ruff. Priced at £28 and £36 respectively. We will be donating 25% of the profits to Northern Ireland Pancreatic Cancer (NIPANC) in loving memory of our dear friend Simon Dougan MBE.

Simon was a hugely influential figure in the NI food world. But above all he was a really great friend and very supportive of us since the very beginning of Blue Moon. We will miss him dearly and we hope to honour his life and career by supporting his chosen charity.
