Happy Birthday John Lennon 🌼 - I recorded this, one of my fav John Lennon songs - ‘Strawberry Fields Forever’ during the Lockdown period in 2020.

Noted as one of John’s own fav songs he wrote - about a location close to his Childhood home, a real-life Salvation Army children’s home near his Liverpool upbringing as a symbol of escape & imagination.

John wrote ‘Strawberry Fields Forever’ to explore his childhood memories, personal pain & feelings of not fitting in. As a young boy, he sneaked into the trees & gardens to play & escape a difficult home life with his Aunt Mimi.
