Why BAPIA Says NO to Balloon Releases
At BAPIA, we love balloons – but we do not support balloon releases.
We understand that balloon releases are often done with love, emotion and the best of intentions – however, balloon releases cause serious environmental harm.
What goes up must come down – and released balloons don’t disappear. They eventually return to earth as litter, often ending up in oceans, rivers, farmland and wildlife habitats.
As professionals in the balloon industry, we believe it’s our responsibility to protect the environment and promote safer alternatives.
BAPIA’s stance is clear: No balloon releases. Ever.
There are so many beautiful, creative and meaningful ways to celebrate or remember someone without harming the planet – and we’re here to help promote those instead
