🚨 Last-minute gig alert! 🚨 So, someone called me frantically needing my services for an event in 3 days time, only to be shocked that my "hourly rate" was a bit pricey. So she decided to call me to voice that quite strongly may I add 🤔 Here’s the kicker: it’s not just my time!

So I broke it down for her:
- The ice cream? Yep, costs money. 🍦
- The bike? Gotta maintain that beauty! 🚴‍♂️
- The battery? It doesn’t charge and replace itself! 🔋
- Those cones you’re enjoying? Yup, those cost too! 🍧
- And don’t even get me started on sauces, toppings, and all those flavours you’ll hardly finish.
- Plus, we’ve got transport costs for mileage to haul everything to and from your event! 🚚
- Let’s not forget insurance costs to keep everything safe and sound and those qualification certificates 📜
- Ongoing storage fees and the electricity used to run the whole operation can add up too! ⚡
- Oh, and of course, you’re paying for my happy, smiling customer service face! 😊

So, when she saw £500 quoted, it wasn’t my hourly rate; it was basically the cost of running a mobile ice cream bike🙌🏻 I’m kinda glad she cancelled she did book through a third party so she lost the deposit which is just the cherry on top of this sundae! 🍒

😎I’m not listening to her negativity on my pricing structure. people forget this isn’t something I’ve just picked up, I’ve spent £1000s making this bike into something, numerous hours to get it to where it is and my customers pay way over what she was quoted!!!! so please let’s just give a little love to small businesses trying to stay afloat in this wild climate👌 & most importantly just BE KIND ❤️
