On Saturday we were helping our friends at Earlsdon Carnegie Community Library providing technical support for their Songwriters' Circle and were amazed by rising young talent Jess Garside accompanied by Curtis. We’re excited to be invited along with Powerhouse Studios to take part in Black Sounds Coventry which is now live in the Delia Derbyshire building Coventry University until 28 February.

There are panel discussions and performances on 7 Feb celebrating black music in Coventry and the excitement continues on 8 Feb with live performances by Sofar Coventry artists John Bernard, Daniella Dee (stage times to follow) Entry is free!

A brilliant night was had by all enjoying beautiful performances by super talented artists.

First thanks to Holy Trinity Church for the use of their historic Trinity House. Rob Green got us off to a rousing start with instant hooks and singalongs aplenty. Toooon! (You had to be there). Gifted songwriter and performer Antonia Kirby kept us in rapture with her captivating and intimate performance before Fieldlily floored us with their pitch perfect harmonies and mastery of their instruments. And a big big Thank You 🤩 to our guests for your support and joining in with gusto!

We’ll be sharing images and clips over the next few weeks so stay tuned.🙏
