⚔️Get ready to roll for initiative as this November Bournemouth Drag King Show presents BCP's first ever live Dungeon and Dragons Drag show! Expect epic performances, real time nat 1's being rolled and a live DnD game during the evening. Whether you are a season player or first time hero this show will be the one for you! Buying tickets in advance is HIGHLY encoraged as theres been alot of interest in this and tickets will sell out!

🚪Doors open: 7pm I Show starts: 8pm I Food available at the bar till 8.30pm
📍Venue: Flirt Cafe Bar, Bournemouth

📖15.00 (cinema) Poole pride talks drag king history: Im legit so excited for this as ive wanted to give a guest talk on drag king history for ages! Come along and find out some local king lore, where kings originated and where we are today (can you tell i love a presentation???)

🎱16.30 (studio)Dandy issues big camp bingo: another year another bingo!! I got some very silly prizes lined up so let's see who wins the full house!

💃🕺17.45 (studio) Lucid cabaret: whats poole pride without a cabaret? Im gonna be singing my silly little gay heart out as we close off pride!

It's my birthday and I'll crawl outta of the bar if I want to!!

Aka I've ran out of drag photos and announcements but it is my bday!! 🎂🎉 I accept birthday gifts in the form of ice coffee along buying tickets to my new show and workshop over may bank holiday weekend (link for both in my bio!) thank you everyone for the love and support I've have had in the last 24 hours!! 🎉 As a CREATE! participant I am being supported by to develop a Drag King Workshop for the people of Dorset. CREATE! is produced by Activate Performing Arts, Arts by the Sea and b-side.

♂️ Have you ever questioned what it takes to (comedically) be a man? Always wanted to put on a beard and have a boogie on stage?

🎩 Join Local Drag King Legend Dandy Issues for a 3 hour workshop as he guides you step by step in a masterclass of getting started in drag. From helping you to developing a drag persona from scratch, practical exercises to get you build confidence in performing to getting you to look at your kingly part.

🎭 From lipsync to live comedy, this workshop is suitable for anyone and everyone! Whether you are a creative looking to expand your professional practice to a total novice who has never stepped on a stage but wants to explore playing with their gender!

📍Location: The Factory Space C.I.C, Bournemouth
🎟️Ticket price: £20 per a person I ⏰Run time: 3 hours

📑 What you will Learn:
(each section with approx 40 minutes with breaks)

🫅 Part 1 - WHAT IS A DRAG?: An Exploration Drag King history, different forms of alternative drag and masculinity

🤸 Part 2 - CHARACTER AND ACT DEVELOPMENT: Creating a drag persona and developing an act from scratch

💄Part 3 - AESTHETICS OF DRAG: How to apply masculine and alternative Drag makeup and introduction to building a costume for your character

✨ What is provided:
Makeup, basic costume parts and a whole load of fun and creativity!

🫵 What you need to bring:
Pen and paper, Questions and ideas for potential drag characters!

👍 Note: Whilst this workshop's primary focus is for those wishing to learn about how to be a drag king, anyone who is wishing to explore alternative drag as an artform is welcomed and encouraged to come along!

Guess who's back ✨️

For those who missed it: last year my phone went on a journey of breaking, broken and dying. Later what I thought was an upgrade was intact the worst camera downgrade I ever had 🫠 that along with moving flats ment I havnt been able to document my drag as much as normal!

But im back with a new *DRAG PHONE* (valid business expense ain't it?) Along with a sweet lil corner great for recording so HOPEFULLY you will see more of be back on your feed for 2026! I got alot planned with the goal of making as much new drag as possible (both good, bad and chaotic!) Along with some great collabs , new mediums of drag as well as a well overdue cheeky drag workshop so come along for the ride!! My linktree is updated!! My inbox is cleared!! And some silly sausage plans are in the mix!
